Max Fashion Kuwait: delivery, returns and customer service

Reviewed by Huda SalehUpdated

In short

This page sets out how a Max order works in Kuwait after you have chosen your items: where the help centre is, how long delivery takes, what the fees are, how the cash-on-delivery charge is treated on a return, and which payment methods are accepted. Expect delivery in 2 to 3 business days, and free delivery once your basket reaches KWD 20.

Customer service

Max Kuwait has its own help centre at helpkw.maxfashion.com, with articles on delivery, payment, returns and refunds written for Kuwait. The articles we read were last edited in September 2020, so treat the checkout page as the up-to-date reference for fees and timings.

None of the Kuwait articles we read gives a phone number, email address, chat hours or tracking instructions, so we do not list any. The help centre is the official starting point for contacting Max about an order.

Delivery time and fees

Kuwait orders are delivered in 2 to 3 business days. The article gives one range for the whole country rather than different times by area, and it says nothing about faster paid delivery in Kuwait.

Delivery is free from KWD 20 and costs KWD 2 below that. A KWD 17 basket would come to KWD 19 with delivery, which is more than a KWD 20 basket with free delivery, so adding a small item can make sense if you need one anyway.

Paying cash on delivery adds KWD 0.5 to the order, on top of products and shipping.

Returns

The Kuwait help centre has a separate returns-policy article, but we did not read it, and the return window for Kuwait is not in our records. Check that article before you send anything back rather than assuming the 14 days used in some other Max countries.

What the Kuwait pages do set out is how a return interacts with the cash-on-delivery charge, explained under refunds below.

  1. Read the returns-policy article on the Kuwait help centre to confirm the current window and conditions.
  2. Decide whether you are returning the whole order or only part of it.
  3. Note the reason: wrong item, damaged, not as described, or a personal reason such as size.
  4. Arrange the return through the Kuwait help centre.

Refunds and the cash-on-delivery charge

Max returns the KWD 0.5 cash fee in one situation only, when two conditions hold together: you send back the entire order, not just some products, and the reason is that you received the wrong product, it was damaged, or it did not match the description on the site.

Any other return keeps the charge with Max. If you return a whole order because the size is wrong, the KWD 0.5 is not refunded; if you return one damaged item but keep the rest, it is not refunded either. Refund timings and methods sit in separate articles that we did not read.

Payment methods

Max Kuwait accepts KNET, Kuwait-issued cards, international Visa and Mastercard credit and debit cards, cash on delivery, My Credit and Shukran points.

Shukran points need a balance of at least 250 before they can be redeemed in Kuwait, and the Shukran slider at checkout calculates the discount. KNET or a card is the simple way to avoid the KWD 0.5 cash charge. Codes, where any exist, are on our Max coupon page.

Frequently asked questions

I paid cash and want to return one item. Do I get the KWD 0.5 back?

No. Max gives the cash fee back only when the entire order is returned and the reason is a wrong, damaged or misdescribed product. Returning a single item from a larger order does not qualify, even if that item was faulty. The product price itself is a separate matter from this charge.

Does Max Kuwait offer same-day delivery?

The Kuwait help centre does not mention one. Its delivery article gives 2 to 3 business days for orders across Kuwait, so allow at least three working days when you are buying for a specific date. The checkout page is the place to see whether any faster option is shown for your address.

Can I pay at Max Kuwait with a card from another country?

Yes, if it is a Visa or Mastercard. Max Kuwait lists international Visa and Mastercard credit and debit cards alongside Kuwait-issued cards and KNET. Cards on other networks are not in the list, so in that case use KNET, cash on delivery, My Credit or Shukran points.

Why can I not use my 220 Shukran points in Kuwait?

Kuwait sets the redemption minimum at 250 Shukran points, so a balance of 220 is not yet enough. Once you pass 250, a slider appears at checkout and shows the discount your points give. Earning another 30 points on a future order would bring you over the line.

How much will a KWD 15 order cost with cash on delivery?

KWD 17.5. The basket is below KWD 20, so the KWD 2 delivery charge applies, and paying cash adds KWD 0.5. Paying by KNET would bring it to KWD 17, and taking the basket to KWD 20 would remove the delivery charge altogether.

What is the return window for Max orders in Kuwait?

We could not confirm it. The Kuwait return window is not in our records, and the returns-policy article on helpkw.maxfashion.com is the place to check before sending anything. Do not rely on the 14 or 15 days quoted for other Max countries, as each country sets its own rules.
