Max does not give a phone number, email, chat hours or tracking procedure for Oman in our records, so we do not list one. Start any query from the Oman help centre.
Delivery time and fees
Delivery in Oman takes 3 to 5 business days and can take longer for some areas. That is slower than Max in Kuwait, Qatar or Bahrain, so for a gift or an event, order at least a full working week ahead.
Delivery is free from OMR 20 and costs OMR 2 below that. Cash on delivery adds OMR 1. An OMR 18 basket paid in cash would come to OMR 21, while the same basket topped up to OMR 20 and paid by OmanNet would cost OMR 20.
Returning an item
Items can be returned within 14 days of delivery. Send them back in the original packaging with the original invoice, plus all accessories, promotional gifts and warranty cards that came with the order.
Max Oman does not take back swimwear, toiletries or perfumes; lingerie or jewellery with opened packaging; or bedding, bath and kids' products such as pillows, sheets, comforters, duvets, memory foam, towels and bathrobes once out of their packaging. Used, altered, assembled or installed products and those showing wear or misuse are also refused, even under warranty. Defective items are accepted.
There are no exchanges for size or colour: return the product, then place a new order.

- Pack it in its original packaging with the invoice, accessories, gifts and warranty card.
- Arrange the return through the Oman help centre.

Refunds
Max does not state refund timings or methods for Oman in what we read, nor whether the OMR 2 delivery fee or OMR 1 cash charge is refunded. The help centre has a separate article on card refunds that we did not read.
Payment methods
Max Oman accepts Omani and international credit cards, OmanNet debit cards, cash on delivery and Shukran points. Paying with OmanNet or a credit card avoids the OMR 1 cash charge.

I live outside Muscat. How long should I allow for a Max order?
Allow at least 5 business days. Max quotes 3 to 5 business days for Oman and says some areas take longer. For anything needed by a fixed date, order a full working week early.
What is the cheapest way to pay for a small Max order in Oman?
Pay with an OmanNet debit card or a credit card. Cash on delivery adds OMR 1, and orders under OMR 20 also carry a OMR 2 delivery fee. On an OMR 10 basket, paying by card keeps the total at OMR 12 instead of OMR 13.
Can I return children's bedding to Max Oman?
Only if it is unopened or defective. Kids' products, along with pillows, sheets, duvets and other bedding and bath items, are refused once removed from their packaging. If the pack is still sealed, return it within 14 days of delivery with the invoice and anything else that came in the order.
What should I do if a Max item arrives faulty in Oman?
Return it within 14 days of delivery. Defective products are accepted even when they belong to a category Max normally excludes, such as lingerie or jewellery with opened packaging. Keep the original packaging, invoice, accessories and any gifts, and arrange the return through the Oman help centre.
Can I use a credit card from outside Oman at Max?
Yes. Max Oman lists international credit cards alongside Omani ones. Debit cards are covered through OmanNet, so a foreign debit card is not in the list. If your card is not accepted, cash on delivery is available for an extra OMR 1, and Shukran points can also be used.
Can I exchange Max shoes for a bigger size in Oman?
Not directly. Max does not run an exchange service, so return the shoes unworn, in their box with the invoice, within 14 days of delivery and order the bigger size as a new purchase. Shoes showing signs of wear will be refused, so try them on indoors only.
