Namshi Oman: delivery, returns and customer service

Delivery to Oman

Omani orders of OMR 35 or more are delivered free, and smaller orders pay USD 8. Like the other non-UAE, non-Saudi markets, Oman has no same-day or next-day price in Namshi's delivery article, and no delivery times are published for it.

Namshi Wallet credit can cover the USD 8 shipping fee. The article does not explain how that dollar amount is converted to rials at checkout.

Cancellations

Namshi's help articles that we read give no way to track or cancel an Omani order and no phone number or email. They state one rule: shipping fees are refunded if an order is cancelled after it has shipped.

Returns and exchanges

Within 14 days of receiving an order, eligible items can be returned or exchanged. They must be unused, unworn, unwashed and undamaged, still with original product tags, brand labels and any security tag loop, and packed in the brand box or original packaging with all accessories, parts and manuals.

Beauty products and items that cannot be resold for hygiene or safety reasons are excluded. Sizes can be exchanged one time, and if the replacement does not fit, it can be returned. The Namshi team handles pickup. The policy lists no return fee, though its fair use section allows fees on future orders, fewer free returns or, rarely, refusal for repeated or abusive returns.

1. Make sure the order reached you no more than 14 days ago.
2. Keep the item unworn and unwashed with its tags, brand labels and security tag loop.
3. Repack it in the brand box or original packaging with all accessories, parts and manuals.
4. Ask for a return or the one-time size exchange, then give the parcel to the Namshi pickup team.
5. Allow the usual 4 to 5 days, and up to 30, for the quality check before the refund.

Refunds

After the quality check, a card payment is refunded to your bank account, usually in 5 to 7 business days depending on your bank. If an order was paid with Tabby or Tamara, the refund usually returns to that account within 24 hours.

Deductions apply in some cases: up to 30% of the original paid price for a removed or damaged security tag, up to 30% for a missing or damaged tag loop, and a lower refund for items found damaged, incorrect or incomplete, or returned with extra or mismatched pieces. On an OMR 20 top, 30% would be OMR 6.

Paying

Cash on delivery is not currently available in Oman, so the order is paid online. Namshi's payment page lists credit and debit cards, Apple Pay on a supported device, and Namshi credit. It also names Tabby and Tamara without saying which countries can use them, so check at checkout.
