Customer service

The unified contact number for Jarir UAE is +971 65032000. It is the number the FAQ gives for help with orders, order status, address changes, partial cancellations, returns and the discount card. The UAE FAQ does not list WhatsApp, an email address or support hours.

Delivery and showroom collection

Aramex covers every UAE city. Big cities usually see the parcel within 1-3 working days; other areas can wait as long as 10 days, and offer periods can add delays. The courier usually picks the order up within one working day, three at most. Orders of AED 200 or more ship free and smaller orders pay AED 20.

Weight is charged above 15 kg at AED 1 per extra kilogram, so a 20 kg order adds AED 5. Jarir uses whichever is greater, the actual weight or the volumetric weight (length x width x height / 4000), which matters for bulky but light items. Each order ships separately with its own invoice and tracking number, and a large order may arrive in several boxes under one tracking number.

Collecting from a showroom is free at any order value, though orders over 15 kg still carry the weight charge. Orders are usually ready within 4 hours during opening hours, and an SMS tells you when. Bring the SMS verification code and your ID to the Online Orders Pickup section. Only the account holder or a person named at checkout can collect, and orders are cancelled 3 days after the first ready message.

Tracking and changing the address

Log in to jarir.com and open your order page or order history to follow an order, or call the unified number. You can edit the shipping address until the delivery company picks up the order; if the status has not yet reached Ready to ship and you need help, call +971 65032000.

Cancelling an order

Online cancellation works only while the order is still being processed or in fulfilment: open your order history, select the order and click Cancel at the top. After that stage cancellation is not allowed. Partial cancellations have to go through the call centre. If Jarir cancels an order for technical reasons, nothing is deducted and your bank releases the blocked amount within 14 days.

Returns and exchanges

You have 7 days from receipt to bring an item back for a refund or swap, as long as it keeps its original condition and packaging, together with the sealed invoice that came in the shipment. To check an item's warranty length and provider, use the invoice, the warranty section of the product page or the warranty policy page with the item number.

1. Keep the item in its original packaging with the sealed invoice from the box.
2. Within 7 days of receipt, take it to the nearest Jarir branch.
3. If no branch is nearby, call +971 65032000 and a courier will collect it from you.
4. After the item is received, the refund goes back to your card.

Refunds

Refunds for cancelled or returned orders go to the original card. For returns, Jarir sends the request to the bank within 2 working days of receiving the item, and shipping charges are deducted unless the item was not as described or had a manufacturing defect. Credit card refunds can take up to 45 days to appear. Tabby refunds usually show within 2 to 5 days, possibly longer depending on the bank.

Payment

Jarir UAE accepts Visa, Mastercard and American Express, including prepaid Visa and Mastercard, and payment at a showroom. The amount is reserved when you buy and taken when the order is ready to ship, and available methods can vary by order amount, product and category. Gift certificates work only in showrooms.

Tabby splits a purchase into 4 monthly payments with no interest or fees, the first paid upfront. Each loan must be at least AED 200 and at most AED 5,000, within an overall spending limit of AED 7,000, and any amount above your approval is added to the first payment.
