Customer service

Jarir Qatar's unified number is 40198333, for returns, warranty, address changes and general help. The Qatar FAQ does not give a Jarir WhatsApp number, email address or support hours; the WhatsApp and email shown in its PayLater section belong to PayLater, not Jarir.

Delivery and showroom collection

Jarir ships inside Qatar only, using Qatar Post. Large cities normally take 1-3 working days, other areas as long as 10 days; the courier picks up the order within one working day, or three at most. Orders of QAR 200 or more travel free, and smaller orders pay QAR 20.

Up to 15 kg is included. Above that, each extra kilogram costs QAR 2, and the chargeable weight is the greater of the actual weight and the volumetric weight (length x width x height / 4000). Every order has its own invoice and tracking number and may arrive in several packages under that one number.

Collecting from a showroom is free with no value limit, although orders over 15 kg may carry extra charges. It takes about 4 hours during opening hours, after which you get an SMS with a verification code. Bring the SMS, the code and your National ID or Iqama; only the account owner or someone authorised at checkout can collect. Orders wait 3 days from the first ready message before being cancelled.

Tracking and address changes

Log in and open My Orders to track an order. The courier calls only if the address is unclear. You can change the shipping address before the courier collects the order; if it has not reached Ready to ship and you need help, call 40198333.

Cancelling

Cancel from the orders page with the button at the top, but only while the order is still being processed. Partial cancellations cannot be made online; call the call centre. During offer periods, Jarir may cancel out-of-stock items and refund them to your original payment method. If an order is cancelled for technical reasons, the authorisation is released within 14 days and nothing is charged.

Returns and exchanges

The main FAQ answer allows 7 days after receipt for a return or exchange. The item must be unused, in original condition and packaging, with the sealed invoice. For warranty details, look at the invoice, the product page or the warranty policy page by item number, or call 40198333.

1. Check the item within 7 days of receipt and keep the sealed invoice and packaging.
2. Take it to the nearest Jarir showroom.
3. If no showroom is nearby, call 40198333 and a courier will collect it.
4. Once the product has been checked, Jarir sends the refund request to the bank within 2 working days.

Refunds

Credit card refunds can take up to 45 days. PayLater refunds take 10 to 15 days to reach the card, sometimes longer depending on the bank. Shipping charges are deducted unless the product did not match or had a manufacturing defect. For an order paid in cash at the door, only the item amounts are returned, as Jarir store credit.

Payment and PayLater

Jarir Qatar accepts Visa, Mastercard and American Express, prepaid Visa and Mastercard, payment at a showroom and cash on delivery, which costs QAR 10 per order and applies only to eligible products. Cashio and OneCard purchasing cards are not accepted. The amount is reserved at purchase and charged when the order is ready to ship. Gift certificates work only in showrooms.

PayLater splits the bill into 4 equal payments, the first upfront, for orders from QAR 200 to QAR 25,000. It accepts Visa and Mastercard only, approval depends on factors such as payment history and basket value, and a late payment costs QAR 50.
