How to use a Jarir Bookstore code
- Open the Jarir online store for your country (Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar or Bahrain) and add your items to the cart.
- If you hold a Jarir discount card, enter its number at checkout; the 10% applies to most stationery, school and office supplies, books and laptop bags, not to electronics.
- Choose home delivery or free collection from a showroom, and check whether your total clears your country's free-shipping threshold.
- Pick a payment method; in Saudi Arabia you can also redeem Qitaf points, where 10 points are worth SAR 1.
- Confirm the order and check the discounted lines on the summary before you pay.
Delivery and fees in Qatar
Jarir Qatar ships free on orders of QAR 200 or more and charges QAR 20 below that. Deliveries are made within Qatar only. In major cities, orders arrive in 1 to 3 working days, but Jarir allows up to 10 days for other areas, so build in time if you live outside the main urban centres.
Collecting at a showroom costs nothing at any order size, which makes it the obvious choice for a small purchase that would otherwise carry the QAR 20 fee. For larger orders, delivery costs nothing anyway, so the decision is mostly about convenience. Our Qatar facts do not mention an extra-weight charge, unlike the UAE, Kuwait and Bahrain stores, so we cannot say whether heavy parcels cost more here.
Returns and refunds in Qatar
Jarir Qatar gives you 7 days after receipt to return or exchange an item. That is short for electronics, so open and test a new device as soon as it arrives rather than waiting until the weekend.
The Qatar pages we read stop there: they do not list excluded categories, do not publish a refund timeline, do not say whether return shipping is free, and do not explain how cash-on-delivery orders are refunded. Given those gaps, keep the original packaging and invoice until you are sure, and raise any problem early in the 7-day window. An exchange is allowed within the same period, which may be the quicker fix if you simply need a different model or colour.
Paying at Jarir Qatar
Cash on delivery is available on some Jarir Qatar orders for a QAR 10 fee. On a QAR 210 order, that adds almost 5% to the price, which is more than many small discounts would save.
Beyond cash on delivery, the Qatar facts we hold do not list the accepted payment methods, and they do not say whether Tabby, Tamara or Apple Pay are offered, so check the payment step before you commit. Jarir publishes no promo code for Qatar, and the discount-card offer that appears on the Saudi, UAE, Kuwait and Bahrain pages is not on our Qatar list. The practical savings here are reaching QAR 200 for free delivery, collecting from a showroom, and avoiding the QAR 10 cash fee where another method is available.

Before you pay at Jarir Bookstore in Qatar
- Check that the site shows QAR prices. A code made for another Gulf country is rejected here, even at the same store.
- Delivery is free from QAR 200; below that it costs QAR 20. Check whether the threshold is measured before or after the discount, because a code can push the basket back under it.
- Cash on delivery is available for QAR 10. Paying by card avoids that fee.
- You have 7 days to return. A refund normally excludes the discount you received.
- There is no VAT in Qatar as of October 2026, so the price you see is the price you pay, apart from delivery.
Tips for saving at Jarir Bookstore in Qatar
- Avoid the QAR 10 cash-on-delivery fee by choosing another payment method at checkout if one is offered.
- Collect small orders from a showroom; that costs nothing at any order size, while delivery under QAR 200 costs QAR 20.
- Outside the major cities, allow up to 10 days for delivery.
- Test electronics on the day they arrive; the window to return or exchange is only 7 days.

Frequently asked questions
Is there a working Jarir Bookstore promo code in Qatar today?
Jarir Bookstore runs free shipping over QAR 200 in Qatar without a code (last checked 18 Oct 2026).
How many Jarir Bookstore codes does Coupons Radar list for Qatar?
As of 18 October 2026, Coupons Radar lists 1 live offer for Jarir Bookstore in Qatar: 1 from the store itself and 0 listed on coupon sites. Jarir Bookstore in Qatar: free delivery from QAR 200; returns within 7 days. Codes that stop working move to the expired list with their end date.
What is the free shipping minimum at Jarir Qatar?
QAR 200. Orders below that pay QAR 20 for delivery, and Jarir Qatar delivers within Qatar only. If your basket is small, collecting at a showroom costs nothing, whatever the order size, and avoids the fee entirely. Pickup is also a way round the wait of up to 10 days outside the major cities.
How long does Jarir take to deliver in Qatar?
1 to 3 working days in major cities. For other areas of Qatar, Jarir allows up to 10 days. If you live outside the main cities and have a deadline, order early or collect from a showroom, which is free with no minimum.
What is the cash on delivery fee at Jarir Qatar?
QAR 10. Cash on delivery is available on some orders and adds QAR 10 to the total. On a basket just over the QAR 200 free-delivery line, that is half of what you saved on shipping, so pay another way if your checkout gives you the option.
How long do I have to return an item to Jarir Qatar?
7 days from receipt. You can return or exchange an item within that period. The Qatar pages do not list category exclusions, a refund timeline or whether return shipping is free, so check purchases promptly and keep the packaging. If you only need a different model or colour, an exchange within the same 7 days may be simpler.
Can I use Tabby or Tamara at Jarir Qatar?
Not published. Our Qatar facts do not say whether Tabby or Tamara is available. Jarir names Tabby for the UAE and Bahrain and both for Saudi Arabia, but that does not tell us about Qatar, so look at the payment options at checkout before planning an instalment purchase.
Is there a Jarir discount card offer in Qatar?
Not on our list. The Jarir discount card's 10% on stationery and books appears on the Saudi, UAE, Kuwait and Bahrain pages, but not in the Qatar facts we read on 18 October 2026. Ask at a Qatar showroom if you want to know whether the card is honoured there.
Can Jarir Qatar deliver to another country?
No. Jarir Qatar ships within Qatar only. To send an order to Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait or Bahrain, use Jarir's online store for that country, which has its own prices and delivery fees. There is no Jarir online store for Oman.
Is there a Jarir promo code for Qatar?
No. We found no reliable public promo code for Jarir Qatar, and the store does not publish one. The savings available are free shipping from QAR 200, free showroom pickup with no minimum, and avoiding the QAR 10 cash-on-delivery fee.
