How to use a Jarir Bookstore code
- Open the Jarir online store for your country (Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar or Bahrain) and add your items to the cart.
- If you hold a Jarir discount card, enter its number at checkout; the 10% applies to most stationery, school and office supplies, books and laptop bags, not to electronics.
- Choose home delivery or free collection from a showroom, and check whether your total clears your country's free-shipping threshold.
- Pick a payment method; in Saudi Arabia you can also redeem Qitaf points, where 10 points are worth SAR 1.
- Confirm the order and check the discounted lines on the summary before you pay.
Delivery and fees in KSA
Jarir charges a flat SAR 29 to deliver any order under 30 kg in Saudi Arabia and SAR 79 for heavier ones, with VAT already included. Unlike Jarir's other Gulf stores, there is no basket value at which delivery becomes free, so a laptop and a box of pens pay the same fee.
Speed is the upside. Orders placed before 5pm in a city with a Jarir showroom are delivered the same day; elsewhere in the Kingdom they take 2 to 5 days. If a showroom is nearby, collecting is free whatever you spend: Jarir sends an SMS when the order is ready and holds it for 3 days. That makes showroom pickup the single most reliable way to cut the cost of a Saudi Jarir order.
Returns and refunds in KSA
Online orders can be returned or exchanged within 7 days of receipt. The exclusions matter at a store like Jarir: books, electronics, software and prepaid cards can only come back if they are defective. In practice that covers much of what people buy online here, from phones and tablets to gaming cards.
So check specifications, storage size and colour before ordering a device, because a change of mind will not be accepted. Payment method affects refunds too. Jarir refunds instalment purchases as store credit rather than cash, so a laptop bought with Tabby, Tamara or Madfu and later returned as defective leaves you with Jarir credit to spend. Stationery, toys and other non-excluded items follow the plain 7-day rule.
Paying at Jarir Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia has the widest instalment choice of any Jarir store: Tabby, Tamara and Madfu are all available. Tamara covers orders from SAR 200 to SAR 5,000, and on a larger order the amount above the limit is added to the first payment. Cash on delivery is not currently offered.
Qitaf points can also be redeemed, at 10 points to SAR 1, which is useful for knocking a little off a big electronics purchase that the discount card does not cover. Our facts do not spell out which card networks the Saudi store takes, and mada and Apple Pay are not mentioned, so look at the payment step before relying on either. Remember that paying in instalments turns any refund into store credit.

Before you pay at Jarir Bookstore in Saudi Arabia
- Check that the site shows SAR prices. A code made for another Gulf country is rejected here, even at the same store.
- Jarir Bookstore lists a delivery fee of SAR 29 in Saudi Arabia; count it when you compare the saving from a code.
- Tabby and Tamara split the total after the code is applied, so you still keep the discount.
- You have 7 days to return. A refund normally excludes the discount you received.
- Prices are shown including 15% VAT. When a code is applied, VAT is charged on the discounted amount, so check the final total on the payment page.
Tips for saving at Jarir Bookstore in Saudi Arabia
- Choose showroom pickup if there is a Jarir branch in your city; it saves the SAR 29 fee on every order.
- Order before 5pm in a showroom city if you want same-day delivery.
- Confirm the exact model and storage before buying a device, because electronics only come back if faulty.
- Use Qitaf points on electronics, where the discount card does not apply.

Does Jarir offer cash on delivery in KSA?

How much can I spend with Tamara at Jarir Saudi Arabia?
SAR 200 to SAR 5,000. Orders inside that range can be split with Tamara. If your order is larger, the amount above SAR 5,000 is added to the first payment rather than spread across the instalments. Tabby and Madfu are also available as alternatives.
How much are Qitaf points worth at Jarir?
10 points equal SAR 1. You can redeem Qitaf points against a Saudi Jarir order, so 1,000 points take SAR 100 off. Because the Jarir discount card does not cover electronics, Qitaf is one of the few official ways to lower the price of a phone or laptop.
Can I return electronics bought from Jarir online in Saudi Arabia?
Only if they are defective. The 7-day return and exchange window for online orders excludes books, electronics, software and prepaid cards unless there is a fault. Other products, such as stationery or toys, can be returned or exchanged within 7 days of receipt.
How are instalment purchases refunded at Jarir Saudi Arabia?
As store credit. If you paid with Tabby, Tamara or Madfu and the return is accepted, Jarir gives the refund as credit to spend at Jarir, not as cash. Keep that in mind on large purchases you are unsure about, and consider showroom pickup so you can inspect the item first.
Can I get same-day delivery from Jarir in Saudi Arabia?
Yes, in showroom cities. Orders placed before 5pm in a city that has a Jarir showroom are delivered the same day. Elsewhere in Saudi Arabia, delivery takes 2 to 5 days. The SAR 29 fee for orders under 30 kg applies either way.
How do I use the Jarir discount card online in KSA?
Enter the card number at checkout. The 10% discount is applied instantly to eligible items: most school and office supplies, arts and crafts, books and laptop bags. Electronics are not included, so a mixed basket only gets the discount on the stationery and book lines.
