How to use a Jarir Bookstore code
- Open the Jarir online store for your country (Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar or Bahrain) and add your items to the cart.
- If you hold a Jarir discount card, enter its number at checkout; the 10% applies to most stationery, school and office supplies, books and laptop bags, not to electronics.
- Choose home delivery or free collection from a showroom, and check whether your total clears your country's free-shipping threshold.
- Pick a payment method; in Saudi Arabia you can also redeem Qitaf points, where 10 points are worth SAR 1.
- Confirm the order and check the discounted lines on the summary before you pay.
Delivery and fees in Bahrain
Jarir Bahrain delivers free on orders of BHD 20 or more and charges BHD 2 below that. Deliveries are made within Bahrain only. Heavy parcels above 15 kg add BHD 0.200 per extra kilogram, which might apply to a box of printer paper or a large school order.
The Bahrain pages we read do not give a delivery time, so allow some margin if you need an item by a specific date, such as the first day of school, and order supplies a few days early. A single textbook or a phone accessory may fall under BHD 20, but most devices and many book orders will clear it, so for anything substantial delivery is effectively free.
Returns and refunds in Bahrain
You can return or exchange an item bought from Jarir Bahrain within 7 days of receipt. The Bahrain pages do not list category exclusions, a refund timeline or whether return shipping is free.
What they do make clear is the effect of paying in cash. Refunds on cash-on-delivery orders go to store credit, so if you return something you paid for at the door, you get Jarir credit rather than money back. For a device or a gift that might need returning, pay online instead. As with Jarir's other 7-day stores, the window is short for electronics: set up and test a new laptop or tablet straight away, and keep the box and accessories together until you are happy with it.
Paying at Jarir Bahrain
Tabby is available at Jarir Bahrain for orders from BHD 20 to BHD 500, and the store mentions a BHD 700 spending limit. Our facts also note that any amount above the per-order cap goes into the first payment. Cash on delivery is offered on some orders for a BHD 1 fee.
Beyond those, the Bahrain facts do not list card types, and BENEFIT, Tamara and Apple Pay are not mentioned, so confirm what your checkout shows. On price, the Jarir discount card takes 10% off most school and office supplies, books and laptop bags, and an order of BHD 20 or more then ships free. For electronics, which the card does not cover, the realistic savings are free delivery and avoiding the BHD 1 cash fee.

Before you pay at Jarir Bookstore in Bahrain
- Check that the site shows BHD prices. A code made for another Gulf country is rejected here, even at the same store.
- Delivery is free from BHD 20; below that it costs BHD 2. Check whether the threshold is measured before or after the discount, because a code can push the basket back under it.
- Cash on delivery is available for BHD 1. Paying by card or with a pay-later plan avoids that fee.
- Tabby split the total after the code is applied, so you still keep the discount.
- You have 7 days to return. A refund normally excludes the discount you received.
- Prices are shown including 10% VAT. When a code is applied, VAT is charged on the discounted amount, so check the final total on the payment page.
Tips for saving at Jarir Bookstore in Bahrain
- Pay online rather than in cash if a return is possible; cash-on-delivery refunds become store credit.
- For an order above BHD 500 on Tabby, expect the excess to land in the first instalment.
- Use the discount card on school supplies and books, and reach BHD 20 for free delivery at the same time.
- Test electronics as soon as they arrive, because the return or exchange window is 7 days.
