How to use a Victoria's Secret code
- Open the Victoria's Secret site for your country, since each Gulf country has its own store, prices and currency.
- Add items to your bag, remembering that lingerie, underwear, fragrance and beauty can't be returned, so be sure of sizes and shades.
- At checkout, enter the promo code in the code field and apply it.
- Check the discount in the bag: a reported code may show a different rate from the one listed, or nothing at all.
- Look at the delivery line before paying; standard delivery is free above KWD 16 in Kuwait or 199 in local currency in Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
Delivery and fees in Kuwait
Kuwait has the lowest free-delivery bar of the four Victoria's Secret sites. Standard delivery costs KWD 3 and becomes free once the order passes KWD 16, and parcels arrive in 2 to 5 days to all governorates. Click & Collect is available on orders above KWD 8, so a small order can be picked up from a store instead of being delivered.
There is one catch. Items for collection and items for home delivery can't be mixed in the same order, so if you want part of a basket delivered and part collected, you'll need two orders. Each of those orders is then measured on its own against the KWD 16 and KWD 8 thresholds, which can push a split basket back under the free-delivery line.
Returns and refunds in Kuwait
You have 14 days from delivery to return an item, and Kuwait gives you two ways to do it: online with a home pick-up, or in any Victoria's Secret store. Online returns are listed as free. Several categories are excluded, though. Underwear, swimwear, lingerie, fragrance and beauty products can't be returned or exchanged unless they are faulty or you received the wrong item.
Kuwait also has a tight cancellation rule: an order can only be cancelled within one hour of placing it. After that, the only way to undo a purchase is through a return, which isn't possible for the excluded categories. If you spot a mistake in sizes or products, call 182-12-12 straight away rather than waiting for the parcel.
Paying in Kuwait
You can pay on the Kuwait site with a Visa or Mastercard card, KNET or Apple Pay. There is no cash on delivery, and neither Tabby nor Tamara is offered here, so you'll need a card, KNET or Apple Pay ready at checkout.
With no instalment options, the main ways to cut the bill are the delivery threshold and a code. The reported codes for Kuwait are a mixed set: one listed at 10% on lingerie, apparel and body care, though the same page also shows it as 15%; one listed at 10% on the order total and said to stack with sales; and one with no stated rate for Kuwait. Apply a code and check the KWD total in your bag before paying, and remember that once the order is placed you only have an hour to cancel.
