noon UAE: delivery, returns and customer service

UAE shoppers use the same noon help centre as Saudi Arabia, at help.noon.com. Its articles on delivery, cash payment and instalments set out the rules in detail. The pages we read do not give a phone number, email address or opening hours for noon customer service in the UAE.

For instalment plans, the bank is your contact, and the help centre lists UAE numbers for each partner. Among them: Emirates NBD on 600 54 0000, ADCB on 600 50 2030, Mashreq on 04 424 4449 and Standard Chartered on 600 522288. RAKBANK and Aafaq Islamic Finance handle conversions manually.

Delivery options and fees

noon does not publish a flat UAE delivery fee. It is set by your city and the hour you order, and it appears at checkout before you confirm. Options include same-day, next-day and bulky-item delivery, though same-day and next-day do not cover every area. Locker and gift-address deliveries are also possible, but they must be prepaid.

Two things remove the fee. noon One is AED 15 a month as a limited offer, with a 14-day trial, and gives free same-day delivery on eligible orders over AED 100. The Mashreq noon Rewards credit card removes delivery charges on marketplace orders permanently. If you order often and already bank with Mashreq, the card makes the membership less necessary.

Returns

Before you post anything back, run through three checks. First, the date: the 15 days start from the day you received the parcel, not the order date. Second, the tag: only products labelled returnable qualify, unless the product page states different terms. Third, the packaging: the item has to travel back in its original box, so keep the inner packing, manuals and accessories until you are sure.

For electronics, the seal decides everything: a sealed box can go back as a normal return, while an unsealed one needs a factory fault. That makes the first hour with a new device important. Compare the model number, storage and region on the box with your order before cutting the seal, then switch the device on and test it the same day, so that any defect is reported well inside the window.

The pages we read for the UAE do not describe the return booking steps, pickup arrangements or how long noon's own inspection takes, so the help centre is the place to confirm those before you send anything back.

Refunds on instalment orders

General UAE refund times are not stated in the pages we read. The instalment article is clearer. When an instalment purchase is returned, noon refunds the full amount to the card or to noon credits, but the bank plan continues and you keep paying it under the bank's terms. When an order is cancelled, the money goes back to the card, and closing the plan is a matter for the bank, not noon.

A new instalment transaction takes 3 to 5 business days to appear on the credit card statement, so a missing entry on day two is normal.

Cash on delivery and instalments

Cash on delivery adds an AED 12 carrier charge, and the checkout total already includes it with the item price and shipping. The ceiling for a cash order is AED 6,500. Cash is not available for lockers, gift addresses, certain doorstep deliveries or prepaid-only items, and an account with several unpaid cash orders may be stopped from adding another for a while.

To spread the cost, Tabby splits an order into as many as six payments and Tamara into as many as four. Bank Easy Installments are also offered at 0% interest over 3 or 6 months on orders from AED 500. noon adds no interest, though the bank may take a small processing fee and charge for late payment. Cash orders cannot be converted. If your card is eligible, pick Easy Installments at checkout; otherwise ask the bank, giving the merchant name noon.com, the order ID from My Orders, date, amount and tenure. First Abu Dhabi Bank notes plans can use up to 95% of the available limit.
