Mumzworld UAE: delivery, returns and customer service

Reviewed by Huda SalehUpdated

In short

This page explains the practical side of ordering from Mumzworld in the UAE: how to reach customer service, how fast parcels arrive in each emirate, how to cancel, and how to send an item back for a refund. The two figures most shoppers need are the 14-day return window, with free pickup from your door, and the AED 49 order value above which delivery costs nothing.

Customer service

The Mumzworld shipping page lists the phone number +971 4 433 9455 and links to a contact form at mumzworld.com/en/contact-us. The returns page describes customer service as running 24/7. Neither of the UAE pages we read gives an email address or a WhatsApp number, so use the phone line or the form, and have your order number ready.

Delivery areas, times and fees

Delivery costs AED 15 on orders below AED 49 and is free above that. Products marked for 2-hour delivery carry their own AED 12 charge. Orders reach Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi on the same day, and Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Al Ain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah on the next day.

Local deliveries are made by Mumzworld's own fleet, and the store says all delivery fees include insurance. Extra charges may apply to heavy or large packages and to addresses outside the city limits of Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Ajman, Dubai, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah and Sharjah; the team says it will contact you before dispatch if that happens.

Tracking and changing an order

The UAE shipping and returns pages we read do not explain how to track a parcel or edit an order once it is placed. To ask where a delivery is, or to change an address or item, contact customer service with your order number.

Cancelling an order

The shipping page says an order cancelled before it is packed is eligible for a refund. If it has not yet been dispatched, the refund also covers the delivery fee you paid. Once the parcel has left, shipping fees are no longer refundable, and the practical route is to accept delivery and then request a return within the 14 days.

How to return an item

The window is 14 days from delivery, and the courier collects from your door at no cost. Products have to be unused and still in the original packaging. The returns page excludes several groups: hazardous goods and batteries; hygiene products such as swimwear, socks, underwear, shoes, potty-training items, baby carriers, personal care and health products, teethers, diapers, wipes and feeding products; custom-made items; anything fully assembled or ordered with installation, such as ride-on toys and play sets; products with tampered or missing serial numbers; and Santa delivery orders.

Some product pages also say an item is not eligible for return, so check the listing first if you may send it back.

  1. Sign in and open My Account, then Account Information, then Returns.
  2. Choose New Return / Exchange Request.
  3. Select the item. Only products that qualify for return appear in the list.
  4. Pick a reason and attach a photo that shows it.
  5. Add any notes and a phone number the courier can call, then submit the request.
  6. Hand the parcel to the courier at your door; the pickup is free.

Refund timing and method

Processing starts 12 to 24 hours after the courier collects the item, and the team inspects it against the policy once it arrives. You choose where the money goes when you submit the return. Refunds to the Mumzworld wallet take 24 to 48 hours, to a credit card 5 to 7 working days, and to a Mada card 7 to 14 working days. Tabby and Tamara purchases are refunded only to the original plan, usually within 7 to 14 working days depending on the provider.

Cash-on-delivery orders are refunded as wallet credit only. For other orders, wallet credit can be cancelled and paid back to your account within 30 days of being issued. Sale items are refunded at the price you actually paid at checkout, not the original price.

Payment options

A UAE product page we read listed credit card, Apple Pay and Google Pay, and a Tamara pay-in-4 plan appears on some UAE product pages. The returns page also refers to debit cards and PayPal for prepaid orders.

Cash on delivery is offered only in Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi; Al Ain is not included. A fee of AED 10 applies to cash orders under AED 100, and orders of AED 10,000 or more cannot be paid in cash. Because a cash order can only be refunded to the wallet, a card is the better choice for anything you might return. For current discounts, see the Mumzworld UAE coupon page.

Frequently asked questions

Can I cancel a Mumzworld order after it has been packed?

The refund rule on the shipping page covers orders cancelled before packing, and those get the delivery fee back too if nothing has shipped. After dispatch, shipping fees are not refundable. If your parcel is already on its way, accept it and open a return from My Account within 14 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and eligible.

Why is an item missing from my return list?

The return form only shows products that qualify. Items in excluded groups, such as diapers, wipes, feeding products, shoes, baby carriers, batteries, custom-made goods or anything assembled or installed, will not appear. Some product pages also state that the item is not eligible for return. If you believe an item is faulty, contact customer service with your order number and a photo.

How long until my card refund arrives?

Count from the pickup. Processing starts 12 to 24 hours after the courier takes the item, after which credit cards need 5 to 7 working days and Mada cards 7 to 14. Wallet credit lands in 24 to 48 hours, and Tabby or Tamara refunds generally need 7 to 14 working days.

Can I turn wallet credit back into money?

Yes, for most orders. The returns policy lets you cancel store credit and ask for a refund to your account within 30 days of the credit being created. This option does not apply to cash-on-delivery orders, whose refunds stay in the Mumzworld wallet. Tabby and Tamara purchases never go to the wallet in the first place; they are refunded to the plan.

Will I pay extra to have an order delivered to a remote area?

Possibly. The shipping page says extra charges may apply to heavy or large packages and to addresses outside the city limits of Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Ajman, Dubai, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah and Sharjah. In those cases the team says it will contact you before the order is dispatched, so you can decide before paying more.

Why might Mumzworld ask for my ID?

The shipping page says Mumzworld may request a copy or photo of a valid ID to verify an order. If it cannot confirm your information, it may refuse delivery and cancel the order. Keeping the name and phone number on your account accurate helps avoid a cancelled delivery.
