Customer service

No phone number, email, chat channel or opening hours appear in the Qatar help articles we read. The Qatar help centre at helpqa.homecentre.com is the official source for delivery, returns and payment rules; check it first and reach support through the channels the store lists.

Delivery times and fees

Household items: standard delivery is free from QAR 200, and orders below that pay QAR 10. They arrive in 2 to 3 business days.

Furniture: scheduled delivery is free on orders of QAR 1,000 or more and costs QAR 100 below that, though a second help page names QAR 499 instead. A 2-day express option costs QAR 200 whatever the order value, so it does not get cheaper on a big order.

Charges are displayed during checkout, and cash on delivery adds QAR 10. Worked example: QAR 150 of cushions paid in cash comes to QAR 170 (QAR 150, plus QAR 10 delivery, plus QAR 10 COD). Add QAR 50 more of household items and pay by card, and you pay QAR 200 with nothing added.

Tracking, changes and cancelling

The Qatar articles we read do not describe order tracking, changes or cancellation. With household parcels arriving in 2 to 3 business days, contact support the same day if you need to change or stop an order.

Returning an item

Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery, in the original packaging. Refused: products damaged by misuse or worn, even under warranty; products used, altered, assembled or installed unless defective; and, once out of their packaging, bedding, mattresses, bed-in-a-bag sets, pillows, sheets, comforters, duvets and covers, memory foam, towels, bathrobes, bath products and kids' products.

Pre-assembled products come back only with a manufacturing defect, and the company may inspect them, then repair or replace them at its discretion. Different colours or sizes are not exchanged; return the item first and then buy the one you want.

1. Confirm the return is within 14 days of delivery.
2. Put the item back in its original packaging and check it is not an excluded product.
3. Contact Home Centre Qatar support through the help centre to arrange the return, and ask for the collection date, since the Qatar article does not describe the procedure.
4. If you paid cash on delivery, check whether your case qualifies for the QAR 10 charge to be refunded (see below).

Refunds

You recover the QAR 10 COD fee in a single case: every item goes back because the order was faulty or not what you bought. Returning part of an order, or returning because you changed your mind, leaves the QAR 10 with the store.

Card and cash refunds have their own articles in the Qatar help centre, but the pages we read do not state how long they take, so ask support for a date when you book the return.

Ways to pay

Accepted in Qatar: Qatar-issued cards, international Visa or MasterCard cards (credit or debit), My Credit, Shukran, and payment in cash at the door. Shukran needs a balance of at least 200, and the discount is set with the Shukran slider at checkout.

Gift cards and instalments are not mentioned in the Qatar payment article.
