Farfetch Bahrain: delivery, returns and customer service

Customer service

Customer service for Bahrain is Farfetch's global team, reached through the Contact us page. No Bahrain number is published; the returns page gives three cancellation lines with UAE (00971454163660), Kuwait (0096522279504) and UK (00442039848044) codes. Hours, email and chat details are not on the help pages. For a damaged, faulty or wrong item, contact the team as soon as it arrives and choose a refund to your payment method or your Farfetch account.

Delivery to Bahrain

Farfetch estimates 2 to 7 business days in transit, varying with your location and the service chosen, and parcels can be delivered every day of the week. That clock starts at dispatch: before it, the brand or boutique has 2 business days to process the order. Express is offered to most destinations, and the services and costs for a Bahrain address are shown at checkout. The dollar total covers duties and taxes.

Couriers include DHL, UPS, FedEx, TNT and DPD. Some orders need a signature, and a missed parcel may be redelivered, moved to a collection point, or returned to origin if nobody collects it. Give a full street address because PO Boxes are not served. Items from different boutiques ship separately.

Tracking and changes

Look out for two emails: the order confirmation, then a shipping email with the tracking number. Orders & Returns in your account lists every parcel, and the guest lookup works for orders placed without an account. Farfetch does not describe any way to amend an order once placed; contact customer service at once if something is wrong, and consider cancelling before the label is printed.

Cancelling

Cancel from Orders & Returns by choosing the items and a reason, then confirming; you get an email back. Where that is not possible, customer service can cancel. Before the order is prepared for shipment you are refunded in full, shipping included. After the label is printed, Farfetch sets up a free return and refunds everything, shipping included, once the items are received and accepted. Refunds then take up to 14 days depending on the payment provider. Made-to-order and customised items can be cancelled only within 48 hours.

Returning an item

Use the free collection or drop-off service within 30 days of delivery, sending from Bahrain. Lingerie and swimwear must have hygiene seals intact and should be tried on only over your own underwear. Jewellery goes back in its original condition with all branded packaging and documents, and the Farfetch security tag must stay where it was attached.

1. Open the order in Orders & Returns (or via the guest order link) and select Return Item(s).
2. Choose the items and a reason for each.
3. Book a collection with your address, number of packages and a date and time, or choose a drop-off point or partner boutique.
4. Pack each boutique's items separately in Farfetch packaging with boxes and dust bags.
5. Attach a return label to each parcel, include any return note, and hand the waybill document to the courier.
6. Keep the waybill number and check the courier scans the label.

Refunds

After the boutique receives a return it may spend as long as 6 days checking it, and your payment provider may need another 14 days before the money is visible. Only the items are refunded on a normal return; the delivery cost is not. A Farfetch account refund is valid for 5 years from acceptance and is spent automatically at your next checkout, but it cannot be cashed out.

Payment

Bahrain prices are shown in US dollars, and Farfetch bills in USD for countries without a local-currency option. The payment page lists Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express, Discover, Diners and JCB cards, PayPal, Apple Pay and cryptocurrency. BENEFIT and cash on delivery are not listed, and Tamara is offered in selected countries only. A Bahraini bank may add a fee on a non-UK card paying a UK-based merchant.
