Centrepoint Oman: delivery, returns and customer service

Oman has its own Centrepoint help centre at helpom.centrepointstores.com, with sections for shipping, payment and the returns policy. The articles we read there list no phone number, email or service hours. For questions they do not answer, use the help centre’s contact option.

Delivery times and fees

The Oman shipping article, last edited in May 2022, says delivery is free on orders of OMR 20 and above and costs OMR 2 below that. An older help page described delivery as free on every order, so the two disagree; the amount at checkout settles it.

Standard delivery in Oman takes 4 to 6 business days. For a birthday or school start, order at least a week ahead. Oman has no faster paid tier in the articles we read.

Tracking and changing an order

Use the orders area of your account to follow progress over the 4 to 6 business days. The Oman articles we read do not describe a way to change the address or items after ordering, so check details carefully before you pay.

Cancelling

The Oman help centre links to a How do I cancel my order? article, but its content was not among the pages we read, so no cancellation deadline can be given here.

Returning an item

Anything other than furniture may be sent back inside 14 days of delivery in its original packaging, together with the invoice, accessories, promotional gifts and warranty cards. The Oman policy refuses worn or misused products; used, altered, assembled or installed items unless defective; toiletries, perfumes and cosmetics; opened lingerie, jewellery, nappies and nursing or maternity products; and bedding, mattresses, pillows, towels, bathrobes and kids’ products removed from packaging.

Defective products are taken back; Centrepoint checks them and may repair or replace them. To change size or colour, return the item and buy again, because exchanges are not offered.

1. Make sure you are inside 14 days from delivery; with 4 to 6 day shipping, count from the day it arrived.
2. Check the item is not in an excluded category and has not been used or assembled.
3. Repack it in the original packaging with the invoice, accessories, gifts and warranty card.
4. Request the return from your account or the help centre.

Refunds

The Oman pages we read do not set out refund timing or explain how card, OmanNet, cash, My Credit or Shukran payments are refunded. Ask through the help centre when you request the return.

Payment methods

Oman accepts credit cards issued in Oman, international Visa and Mastercard credit cards, OmanNet debit cards, cash on delivery, My Credit and Shukran points. Shukran needs a balance of at least 200 points, and the slider at checkout shows the discount. No cash-on-delivery fee or instalment option is listed for Oman.
