Customer service
The amazon.ae help pages in our records give no phone number, email or chat hours. For an order problem, sign in and work from Your Orders or the help section of amazon.ae, which keeps the request tied to the right order.
Delivery, Prime and same-day
Amazon-fulfilled items ship free once they total AED 100 or more; goods sent by other sellers are not counted towards that figure. Under AED 100, the standard charge depends on the items and begins at AED 10, with arrival in 1–2 business days.
With Prime, same-day delivery is free once an order tops AED 100; smaller same-day orders carry a AED 3 charge. The membership is priced at AED 16 per month, or AED 140 for a full year, and the site currently offers new members three months at AED 8 each. Example: a Prime member ordering a AED 60 phone charger for same-day delivery pays AED 3 on top; for a non-member, the same order is sent at the standard rate, which starts at AED 10, within one to two business days.
Tracking and cancelling
Tracking, order changes and cancellation are not covered in the amazon.ae help information we hold. Given 1–2 business day delivery and same-day options for Prime, act quickly from Your Orders if you want to stop a purchase.
Returns
Most items can be sent back within 15 days of receipt. The amazon.ae information in our records does not include the full return procedure or the list of excluded categories, so check the return note on the product page before buying anything you may want to send back.
Refunds and fees kept
Refund timings are not stated in our records. One rule is clear: the AED 10 cash-on-delivery fee is not refunded, even when you return the order. On a AED 250 cash order sent back in full, you would recover AED 250 but not the AED 10 fee, which is a reason to pay by card if a return is likely.
Cash, Tabby and Tamara
Cash on delivery costs AED 10 per order and disappears as an option once your open, undelivered orders exceed AED 1,000 in total. Tabby covers baskets worth between AED 100 and AED 15,000: the 4-payment plan is fee-free, while 6, 8 and 12-month plans may carry fees. Tamara is also accepted. Frequently asked questions
Why has cash on delivery disappeared from my checkout?
The likely reason is your open orders. Amazon UAE withdraws the cash option once the combined value of your placed-but-undelivered orders goes past AED 1,000. Once some of them are delivered, or if you pay this order by card, Tabby or Tamara, you can continue. The cash fee is AED 10 and is not refunded.
Do Tabby plans on amazon.ae always cost nothing extra?
Only the 4-payment plan is described as fee-free. Longer plans over 6, 8 or 12 months may carry fees, so read the terms shown at checkout. Tabby is available for purchases between AED 100 and AED 15,000; below AED 100 you need another payment method.
How much does same-day delivery cost a Prime member?
Nothing on orders above AED 100, and AED 3 on smaller orders. Prime costs AED 16 a month or AED 140 a year, and new members are currently offered three months at AED 8. If you order small items for same-day delivery several times a month, compare the AED 3 charges with the membership fee.
Do marketplace sellers' items count toward free shipping?
No. Only items fulfilled by Amazon count towards the AED 100 free-shipping level. A basket with AED 80 of Amazon-fulfilled goods and AED 40 from another seller does not qualify, and the standard charge from AED 10 applies. The product page shows who ships each item.
Is the cash fee returned if I send the order back?
No. The AED 10 cash-on-delivery fee is non-refundable, so you get back the value of the items but not the fee. If you are unsure about size or fit, paying by card, Tabby or Tamara avoids losing that AED 10 on a return.
How long is delivery without Prime?
Standard delivery on amazon.ae takes 1–2 business days. It is free on AED 100 or more of Amazon-fulfilled items, and otherwise starts at AED 10 depending on what you buy. Same-day delivery with its AED 3 small-order charge is a Prime benefit.
