Customer service
The amazon.sa help pages in our records do not list a phone number, email address or chat hours. For an order problem, start from Your Orders in your account or the help section of amazon.sa while signed in.
Delivery charges and speed
Spend SAR 100 or more on products Amazon itself dispatches and shipping is free, with arrival in 1–2 business days. Smaller baskets are charged a standard rate that begins at SAR 12. Products dispatched by third-party sellers are left out of the SAR 100 count, so a SAR 70 Amazon-fulfilled item plus a SAR 50 marketplace item does not qualify.
Prime costs SAR 16 a month or SAR 140 a year; new members are currently offered a reduced first quarter at SAR 8 monthly, and the fee then reverts to SAR 16. The Amazon Saudi homepage also shows free delivery on a first order.
Tracking and cancelling
Our records of the amazon.sa help pages do not cover tracking, editing or cancelling an order, so we cannot give the steps here. Check the order in your account soon after placing it if you may want to cancel, because Amazon-fulfilled parcels can arrive within one or two business days.
Return windows
For most products sold and shipped by amazon.sa, the return period is 15 days counted from receipt. Global Store products, sourced from the US, UK or Germany, carry a window anywhere between 15 and 30 days, so read the product page. Our records do not include the step-by-step return procedure for Saudi Arabia.
Refunds
Refund timings by payment method are not in the amazon.sa information we hold. If you paid with Tabby or Tamara, the instalment plan is managed by that provider, so keep an eye on both your Amazon order and the provider's app after a return.
Payment options
amazon.sa takes mada, Visa, Mastercard and American Express, the Tabby and Tamara instalment services, and Amazon gift cards. With Tabby, the total can be spread over 4 or 6 payments without interest. Paying cash at the door is listed as suspended for now, and its fee, when offered, is SAR 17. Frequently asked questions
Why did my SAR 120 basket not ship free?
Only items fulfilled by Amazon count towards the SAR 100 free-shipping level. If part of the basket comes from a third-party seller, that part is excluded, and the Amazon-fulfilled share may fall below SAR 100. In that case standard delivery, starting at SAR 12, applies. Check the seller line on each product before paying.
What is the return period for Global Store products?
Between 15 and 30 days, depending on the item. Global Store products come from Amazon's US, UK and German stores, and their return windows differ from the standard 15 days for most items shipped from amazon.sa. Read the return information on the product page before buying, especially for electronics or clothing you may need to swap.
When will cash on delivery come back on amazon.sa?
The help page only says it is temporarily unavailable and gives no date. When it is active, the fee is SAR 17 per order. Until then, pay with mada, a Visa, Mastercard or Amex card, Tabby, Tamara or an Amazon gift card balance.
What happens after the SAR 8 Prime offer ends?
Once the reduced quarter ends, the membership renews at the regular SAR 16 a month. The annual plan costs SAR 140, which works out to about SAR 11.67 a month if you know you will keep it. To stop, cancel before the renewal date.
Is Tabby on amazon.sa interest-free?
Yes. Amazon Saudi lists Tabby with a choice of 4 or 6 payments and no interest. Tamara is also accepted, alongside mada, credit cards and gift cards. If you return an instalment purchase, follow the refund in both your Amazon account and the Tabby or Tamara app.
Is delivery free on my first amazon.sa order?
The Amazon Saudi homepage showed free delivery on a first order when we checked. Beyond that, delivery is free on SAR 100 or more of Amazon-fulfilled items, arriving in 1–2 business days. Smaller baskets pay standard delivery from SAR 12.
