Customer service
For Kuwait, the facts we hold name one support channel: WhatsApp, open 24 hours a day. A Kuwaiti phone number, email address or office is not listed. When you write, include the booking reference and the name of the lead traveller so the agent can find the reservation quickly.
Changes and rebooking
Almatar keeps its fees for changes and rebooking in a separate Service Fees section of the help centre, and they are charged in addition to the fare. The section also covers cancellations made on the same day as booking. Read it before you book a trip whose dates might move, because two small changes can add up to more than the saving that drew you to a cheaper fare.
Cancelling
Flights can usually be cancelled up to 24 hours before departure, subject to fees, so a cancellation for an early-morning Sunday flight should be made by early Saturday morning at the latest. Fees for same-day cancellations are listed in the Service Fees section. The cancellation steps for Kuwait bookings are not set out separately in the material we read, so use the cancel option on your booking and follow up on WhatsApp.
Refunds
Refund timing for Kuwait bookings is not published. Because the payment was taken in riyals, any refund will also be in riyals and converted back to dinars by your bank, so the dinar figure can differ slightly from the original charge. Service fees for cancellations reduce what comes back.
Cards, wallets and instalments
Kuwait customers can pay by Visa or Mastercard, by Apple Pay, or in instalments through Tabby or Tamara. KNET is missing from the payment page, so a debit card that runs only on KNET cannot be used here. Whatever Kuwaiti card you choose, the total is converted into SAR, and picking one that charges nothing on foreign payments keeps the cost down. How do I choose Kuwait on the Almatar website?
