How to use a IKEA code
- Open ikea.com and pick your own country's store (for example /sa/en/ for Saudi Arabia), because each Gulf country has a separate shop with its own prices and rules.
- Add products to the cart and choose a delivery method; in the UAE, Kuwait and Oman, Click & Collect is free and can save more than a code.
- At checkout, enter the promo code in the discount field if your country's store offers one, and apply it before paying. Reported codes currently exist only for Saudi Arabia.
- Check the cart total: reported codes tend to skip sale items, and the delivery fee depends on order value or weight.
- Choose a payment method and place the order. There are no cashback codes for IKEA, so any saving shows on the order itself.
Delivery and fees in Saudi Arabia
IKEA's Saudi help pages split delivery into two prices: SAR 19 per parcel order and SAR 99 for large furniture. Both drop to zero on orders of SAR 1,500 or more. For a single wardrobe or sofa that sits just under the line, adding a few accessories you would buy anyway can be cheaper than paying SAR 99.
If you need something quickly, same-day express runs in Jeddah, Riyadh, Dhahran and Madinah, at SAR 39 for parcels and SAR 199 for furniture. Outside those four cities, standard delivery is the option. Bear in mind that IKEA does not refund delivery fees once an order has shipped, so a delivery you pay for stays paid even if the product goes back. When you use a reported percentage code on a big order, check that the cart still shows free delivery after the discount.
Returns and refunds in Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia has one of the most generous return periods at IKEA in the region: 365 days. The condition is that the product is unopened and you have proof of purchase, and the return is handled through a store or IKEA's customer service. That makes a year-long window less flexible than it sounds for flat-pack furniture, because once you open the box to assemble it, the standard return no longer applies.
Mattresses have their own rule. If a new mattress turns out too firm or too soft, IKEA's Saudi pages allow an exchange within 90 days. Delivery charges are a separate matter: they stay with IKEA after the order has left, so a SAR 99 furniture delivery is lost if you send the item back. Measure doorways and rooms before ordering, and keep your receipt or order confirmation safe for the full year.
Paying in Saudi Arabia
IKEA's Saudi payment options were not published in the help pages we read on 18 October. That means we cannot confirm whether mada, Apple Pay, Tabby, Tamara or cash on delivery is offered on the Saudi website, even though several of those appear for IKEA in other Gulf countries. The payment step at checkout is the place to see what your account is offered.
Two points still help. First, the promo codes reported for Saudi Arabia are instant discounts applied to the order, not cashback, and none of them is tied to a particular bank card, so your choice of payment method does not change the discount. Second, the 365-day return depends on proof of purchase, and paying by card leaves a clear record of the transaction alongside your order confirmation.

Before you pay at IKEA in Saudi Arabia
- Check that the site shows SAR prices. A code made for another Gulf country is rejected here, even at the same store.
- Delivery is free from SAR 1,500; below that it costs SAR 19. Check whether the threshold is measured before or after the discount, because a code can push the basket back under it.
- You have 365 days to return. A refund normally excludes the discount you received.
- Prices are shown including 15% VAT. When a code is applied, VAT is charged on the discounted amount, so check the final total on the payment page.
Tips for saving at IKEA in Saudi Arabia
- If a furniture order is a little under SAR 1,500, top it up with things you need anyway rather than pay SAR 99 for delivery.
- Same-day delivery is only offered in Jeddah, Riyadh, Dhahran and Madinah, and costs SAR 199 for furniture, so plan ahead elsewhere.
- Check sizes before you open the box: the 365-day return covers unopened products only.
- Reported Saudi codes are aimed at full-price items, so try one on a cart without sale products first.

How much is IKEA delivery in Saudi Arabia?
SAR 19 per parcel order and SAR 99 for large furniture, according to IKEA's Saudi delivery page. Same-day delivery in Jeddah, Riyadh, Dhahran and Madinah costs more, SAR 39 for parcels and SAR 199 for furniture. Once the order ships, IKEA keeps the delivery fee even if you return the goods, so choose the option carefully.
What is the minimum order for free IKEA delivery in Saudi Arabia?
SAR 1,500. Orders at or above that amount get free delivery for both parcels and big furniture. Below it you pay SAR 19 or SAR 99 depending on what you buy. For a large furniture purchase near the line, adding items to reach SAR 1,500 is often better value than paying the furniture fee.
Where does IKEA offer same-day delivery in Saudi Arabia?
Jeddah, Riyadh, Dhahran and Madinah. IKEA's express terms list those four cities, with prices of SAR 39 for parcels and SAR 199 for furniture. Anywhere else, standard delivery applies at SAR 19 or SAR 99, free from SAR 1,500. Same-day is a paid service, so it is worth using only when timing matters.
How long is IKEA's return period in Saudi Arabia?
365 days. IKEA Saudi Arabia accepts returns for a year as long as the product is unopened and you have proof of purchase. Returns go through a store or customer service. Once a flat-pack box has been opened for assembly, the standard return no longer covers it, so check measurements first.
Do I get the delivery fee back if I return an IKEA order in Saudi Arabia?
No. IKEA's Saudi pages say delivery fees are not returned after the order has been shipped. If you paid SAR 99 to have furniture delivered and then return it, that SAR 99 stays with IKEA. This is another reason to reach the SAR 1,500 free delivery line when you can.
Can I exchange an IKEA mattress in Saudi Arabia?
Yes, within 90 days if it is too firm or too soft. IKEA's Saudi pages describe this as an exchange for comfort, separate from the 365-day return for unopened products. Keep your proof of purchase, and contact a store or customer service to arrange it.
Does IKEA Saudi Arabia accept mada, Tabby or Tamara?
Not published. The IKEA Saudi pages we read did not list payment methods, so mada, Tabby, Tamara, Apple Pay and cash on delivery are all unconfirmed. Open the payment step at checkout to see which options appear for your order before you rely on any of them.
Do IKEA codes in Saudi Arabia work on sale items?
Usually not. The reported codes for IKEA Saudi Arabia range from 5% to 10% and point to full-price products, with one 10% code described as covering living room and bedroom furniture at full price. Codes are reported by coupon sites, not IKEA, so test one on your cart before planning around it.
