How to use a IKEA code
- Open ikea.com and pick your own country's store (for example /sa/en/ for Saudi Arabia), because each Gulf country has a separate shop with its own prices and rules.
- Add products to the cart and choose a delivery method; in the UAE, Kuwait and Oman, Click & Collect is free and can save more than a code.
- At checkout, enter the promo code in the discount field if your country's store offers one, and apply it before paying. Reported codes currently exist only for Saudi Arabia.
- Check the cart total: reported codes tend to skip sale items, and the delivery fee depends on order value or weight.
- Choose a payment method and place the order. There are no cashback codes for IKEA, so any saving shows on the order itself.
Delivery and fees in Oman
Oman has the simplest delivery pricing of any IKEA store in the Gulf. Orders of OMR 49 or more are delivered free. Below that, parcels cost OMR 1 and furniture OMR 3, so even a small order carries a modest fee. Click & Collect is free as well.
Assembly is where the extra cost sits. IKEA Oman charges OMR 6 for assembly, or OMR 9 for delivery and assembly together. Neither fee is refunded if you later return the delivered product, so be sure about sizes before booking the service. With no promo codes listed for Oman, the OMR 49 threshold is the one number to keep in view: a few household basics added to a small furniture order can remove the OMR 3 charge.
Returns and refunds in Oman
Omani shoppers have 90 days to return products, extended to 120 days for IKEA Family members. In both cases you need the receipt and the packaging. That is shorter than the year allowed in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Bahrain, so do not leave a decision on a large item until the last moment.
Two details shape what a return costs. Delivery and assembly fees on items that were delivered are not refunded, so a returned wardrobe loses its OMR 3 delivery and any assembly charge. And if you paid cash on delivery, the refund or exchange is handled at a store rather than sent to you. Card payment, where it is offered at checkout, keeps that process simpler, and keeping boxes and receipts together makes the store visit quicker if you need one.
Paying in Oman
Cash on delivery is available for IKEA Oman orders up to OMR 500. It is not offered with Click & Collect, so if you pick up from the store you will need to pay another way. Keep the exact sum in rials ready when the delivery arrives.
Beyond cash, IKEA Oman's payment methods were not spelled out in the pages we read, so card types, Apple Pay, OmanNet and instalment services such as Tabby and Tamara are unconfirmed. Check the payment step before committing to a large order, particularly one over OMR 500, where cash is no longer an option. Remember that cash orders are refunded or exchanged in store. No promo codes or bank-card offers are listed for IKEA Oman, so the method affects convenience rather than price.

Before you pay at IKEA in Oman
- Check that the site shows OMR prices. A code made for another Gulf country is rejected here, even at the same store.
- Delivery is free from OMR 49; below that it costs OMR 1. Check whether the threshold is measured before or after the discount, because a code can push the basket back under it.
- Cash on delivery is available. Paying by card avoids that fee.
- You have 90 days to return, and returns may carry a fee. A refund normally excludes the discount you received.
- Prices are shown including 5% VAT. When a code is applied, VAT is charged on the discounted amount, so check the final total on the payment page.
Tips for saving at IKEA in Oman
- Reach OMR 49 to make delivery free; below it, a furniture order pays OMR 3.
- Delivery with assembly costs OMR 9 and none of it comes back on a return, so confirm the item fits before booking.
- Use cash on delivery only for orders up to OMR 500, and keep the exact amount in rials ready.
- Join IKEA Family before a big purchase to have 120 days to return instead of 90.

OMR 49. Orders at that amount or above are delivered free. Smaller orders pay OMR 1 for parcels or OMR 3 for furniture. Click & Collect is free at any order value, if you are happy to pick up from the store and pay by a method other than cash.
How much does IKEA Oman charge for assembly?

How long do I have to return IKEA items in Oman?
90 days, or 120 days if you are an IKEA Family member. You need the receipt and the packaging. That is shorter than the one-year period in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Bahrain, so plan on deciding within three months.

No. IKEA Oman does not refund delivery or assembly fees when you return products that were delivered. A returned furniture order loses its OMR 3 delivery charge and any OMR 6 assembly fee. Reaching the OMR 49 free delivery threshold limits what you stand to lose.

Does IKEA Oman accept OmanNet cards or Tabby?
Not published. The IKEA Oman pages we read described cash on delivery but did not list card networks, Apple Pay, OmanNet or instalment services such as Tabby and Tamara. Check the payment step at checkout to see what is offered before planning around a particular method.
Are there IKEA discount codes for Oman?
Not at the moment. No coupon site we track has listed a recent code for IKEA Oman, and codes reported for the Saudi store will not work on the Oman site. The savings available are free delivery from OMR 49, free Click & Collect, IKEA Family's longer returns and the store's sale prices.
