IKEA promo codes across the Gulf

Quick answer
IKEA codes are set per country. Right now we track 11 live offers across 6 countries; Saudi Arabia has the most (6). Pick your country below for the strongest code there.
| Country | Best offer now | Evidence | Live offers |
|---|---|---|---|
| UAE | Free accessories delivery over AED 250 | Store deal | 1 |
| Saudi Arabia | Free delivery on orders of SAR 1,500+ | Store deal | 6 |
| Kuwait | No live offer | – | 0 |
| Qatar | IKEA Family Plus delivery, QAR 99 a year | Store deal | 1 |
| Bahrain | Free parcel delivery from BHD 20 | Store deal | 2 |
| Oman | Free delivery on orders of OMR 49+ | Store deal | 1 |
IKEA does not run one Gulf shop: each of the six countries has its own store on ikea.com, and the gap between them is wide. Free delivery starts at SAR 1,500 in Saudi Arabia but at BHD 20 for parcels in Bahrain, and the return period is a full year in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Bahrain against 90 days in the UAE, Qatar and Oman.
Promo codes are scarce. Coupon sites report a handful of 5% to 10% codes for Saudi Arabia only, while elsewhere the money is saved on delivery: free thresholds, free Click & Collect and, in Qatar, a yearly delivery subscription. The facts below come from IKEA's own help pages as they appeared in search results on 18 October 2026.

How IKEA codes work
IKEA is unusual among big Gulf retailers in that it publishes almost no promo codes. Its own offers are about delivery rather than price: free delivery above a set order value in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain and Oman, and the IKEA Family Plus delivery subscription in Qatar. Anything you can type into a discount box comes from coupon sites, and those listings exist for Saudi Arabia alone.
The Saudi listings are modest, between 5% and 10%. One 10% code is described as covering living room and bedroom furniture at full price, which tells you that sale items are generally left out. Most were seen on 18 October, but one had last been spotted in mid-September, and some coupon sites admit that no IKEA code is working at times. For the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman we found no recently listed codes. There are no cashback offers or bank-card promotions in our IKEA data either. In practice, the reliable savings at IKEA come from delivery choices, membership perks and timing your purchase around the store's own sales, not from codes.
Getting the most from an IKEA order
Because furniture is heavy, delivery is often the biggest extra on an IKEA bill, and that is where the real savings sit. In Saudi Arabia big furniture costs SAR 99 to deliver until the order reaches SAR 1,500, and in Bahrain truck delivery is BHD 9.900 until BHD 100. Planning one larger order instead of several small ones clears those thresholds. In the UAE, Kuwait and Oman, IKEA's pages describe Click & Collect as free, which removes the delivery line altogether if you can transport the boxes.
Membership helps in three countries. IKEA Family stretches the return period from 90 to 120 days in the UAE and Oman, and Qatar's IKEA Family Plus subscription costs QAR 99 a year and covers accessory and furniture delivery, which pays for itself after a few deliveries at QAR 29 to QAR 49 each. If you are in Saudi Arabia and use a reported code, apply it to full-price items, since the listings suggest discounted products are excluded. Finally, add up assembly before you commit: Bahrain charges 10% of the furniture value with a BHD 15 minimum, and Oman OMR 6, and in several countries delivery and assembly charges are not refunded if you return the product.
Delivery and returns across the Gulf
Delivery pricing follows a different logic in each country. Saudi Arabia charges SAR 19 per parcel order and SAR 99 for large furniture, free from SAR 1,500, with same-day delivery in Jeddah, Riyadh, Dhahran and Madinah at SAR 39 or SAR 199. The UAE charges AED 10 for accessories, free above AED 250, and AED 45 for furniture, though IKEA's general terms quote higher figures. Kuwait lists KWD 3 for parcels up to 50 kg, while orders over 30 kg go by truck at a price shown at checkout; a free threshold is not published. Qatar charges QAR 29 per accessories delivery and QAR 49 per furniture delivery. Bahrain's delivery page gives BHD 1 for parcels, free from BHD 20, and BHD 9.900 for truck delivery, free from BHD 100, but its FAQ lists higher fees. Oman is free from OMR 49, otherwise OMR 1 for parcels and OMR 3 for furniture.
Returns split the region in two. Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Bahrain allow 365 days, for products that are unopened or unused and with proof of purchase. The UAE, Qatar and Oman allow 90 days, and IKEA Family members get 120 in the UAE and Oman. Return transport is not free: Bahrain puts it at the customer's cost, and Kuwait says a pickup may be charged.
Paying for an IKEA order
Payment options vary as much as delivery. The UAE has the longest list on IKEA's pages: Visa, Mastercard, JCB, Apple Pay, PayPal, Tabby, Tamara and cash on delivery. Tabby there cannot be combined with cash on delivery, does not cover gift cards or IKEA Food, and needs an Emirates ID. Kuwait lists Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, KNET and the instalment service deema. Qatar lists Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, PayLater and cash on delivery in Qatari riyals. Bahrain accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay and BENEFIT cards, and does not offer cash on delivery online. Oman accepts cash on delivery on orders worth up to OMR 500, except with Click & Collect.
For Saudi Arabia, IKEA's payment methods were not published in the pages we read, so mada, Tabby and Tamara are unconfirmed there. Paying in cash has a catch in some countries: in the UAE and Oman, refunds for cash orders are handled in store, and in Qatar a cash order cannot be split with a card or partly cancelled once confirmed. If there is any chance you will return part of an order, paying by card keeps the refund simpler.
When an IKEA code is rejected
The most common reason is simple: you are not in Saudi Arabia. Every reported IKEA code in our data is listed for the Saudi store, and each Gulf country runs a separate shop, so a code from a Saudi listing will not carry over to the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain or Oman. Even in Saudi Arabia, codes are reported by third-party sites rather than published by IKEA, and some of those sites note that no code works at certain times. One listing had not been seen since mid-September.
If you are on the Saudi store and the code fails, look at what is in the cart. The listings point to full-price items, and one 10% code is described as limited to living room and bedroom furniture, so a cart full of reduced products or kitchen items may have nothing eligible. Try removing sale items, test another of the listed codes, and check the total again. When nothing works, turn to the savings IKEA does publish: reach your country's free delivery threshold, choose free Click & Collect where it is offered, or join IKEA Family for longer returns. Those apply whatever the coupon box says.
How to use a IKEA code
- Open ikea.com and pick your own country's store (for example /sa/en/ for Saudi Arabia), because each Gulf country has a separate shop with its own prices and rules.
- Add products to the cart and choose a delivery method; in the UAE, Kuwait and Oman, Click & Collect is free and can save more than a code.
- At checkout, enter the promo code in the discount field if your country's store offers one, and apply it before paying. Reported codes currently exist only for Saudi Arabia.
- Check the cart total: reported codes tend to skip sale items, and the delivery fee depends on order value or weight.
- Choose a payment method and place the order. There are no cashback codes for IKEA, so any saving shows on the order itself.
Frequently asked questions
Which Gulf countries does IKEA serve online?
IKEA sells online in UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, each with its own store and prices in local currency. We list codes and delivery terms for each of these countries separately.
Where are there the most IKEA codes right now?
IKEA codes are set per country. Right now we track 11 live offers across 6 countries; Saudi Arabia has the most (6). Pick your country below for the strongest code there.
How much do I need to spend for free IKEA delivery in the Gulf?
It varies a lot. IKEA's pages give SAR 1,500 in Saudi Arabia, AED 250 for accessories in the UAE, BHD 20 for parcels and BHD 100 for truck delivery in Bahrain, and OMR 49 in Oman. Kuwait and Qatar do not publish a free delivery threshold, though Qatar offers a QAR 99 yearly subscription that covers delivery.
How long do I have to return something to IKEA?
365 days in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Bahrain, and 90 days in the UAE, Qatar and Oman. IKEA Family members get 120 days in the UAE and Oman. In every country the product generally needs to be unopened or unused, with its packaging and proof of purchase, and Bahrain excludes mattresses from its 365-day rule.
Does IKEA refund delivery fees if I return an item?
No, in the countries that say so. Saudi Arabia states that delivery fees are not returned after the order has been shipped, and Kuwait and Oman do not refund delivery or assembly fees on returned items. Bahrain puts the cost of return transport on the customer. Measure your space before ordering large furniture.
Can I pay cash on delivery at IKEA?
In some countries. The UAE and Qatar list cash on delivery, and Oman offers it on orders of up to OMR 500, though not for Click & Collect. Bahrain does not offer it on the website. For Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, IKEA's pages that we read did not list cash on delivery among the payment options.
Can I pay for IKEA in instalments with Tabby or Tamara?
In the UAE, yes: both Tabby and Tamara are listed, and Tabby takes 25% upfront with the rest over three months. Kuwait offers deema instead, and Qatar lists PayLater, with interest-free instalments from QAR 400 available in store only. For Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Oman, instalment options were not published in what we read.
Do IKEA promo codes work on sale items?
Usually not. The reported codes for IKEA Saudi Arabia are aimed at full-price products, and one 10% code is described as covering living room and bedroom furniture at full price only. If your cart is mostly reduced items, expect the code to apply to little or nothing, and compare the sale price with what a code would save.
Are there IKEA discount codes outside Saudi Arabia?
Not at the moment. No coupon site we track has listed a recent code for IKEA in the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain or Oman. In those countries the savings come from IKEA's own delivery offers, free Click & Collect where available, the IKEA Family programme and the store's seasonal sales.
Is IKEA Family worth joining in the Gulf?
It can be. In the UAE and Oman, IKEA Family membership extends the return period from 90 to 120 days. In Qatar, the paid IKEA Family Plus subscription costs QAR 99 a year and covers delivery of accessories and furniture, but not express delivery, assembly or the cash-on-delivery service. Frequent buyers gain the most.
