Babyshop Saudi Arabia: delivery, returns and customer service
Reviewed by Huda SalehUpdated
In short
Here is how Babyshop's Saudi online store handles delivery, bulky nursery items, returns, refunds and payment. Two numbers shape most orders: delivery takes 2 business days in Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam against 4 elsewhere, and a cash-on-delivery order pays a SAR 17 service charge on top, which is bigger than the standard SAR 10 delivery charge.

Customer service
Saudi customers have their own help centre at helpsa.babyshopstores.com. Its delivery, returns and payment articles do not show a phone number, email or working hours, so the help centre itself is the place to raise a question about an order.
Delivery times and charges in the Kingdom
The Saudi timings hinge on a midday cut-off. If you order before 12:00 PM, the estimate is two business days for the three big cities, Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam, and four business days for the rest of the country. An order placed in Abha on a Sunday morning should therefore be planned for later in the week, not the next day. The checkout page shows the delivery details for your basket before you pay.
Delivery is free from SAR 200 and costs SAR 10 below that. Strollers, cots and other products that need assembly are booked for a date and time of your choice at checkout, either as regular scheduled delivery or as 2-day Express for an extra SAR 100.
Tracking, changes and cancelling
The Saudi articles we read do not cover tracking a parcel, editing an address or cancelling an order. If plans change, contact Babyshop through the help centre straight away; for orders outside the three main cities you have a little more time before the 4-business-day delivery, but do not rely on it.
Returns policy and steps
Anything other than furniture can be sent back within 14 days of the delivery date, provided it is in its original packaging; the article sets no separate period for furniture. Products that have been used, altered, assembled or installed are refused, and so are items damaged by misuse or worn, even if a warranty still runs. Lingerie, jewellery, disposable nursing and maternity products and nappies cannot go back once opened. Toiletries, perfumes and cosmetics are excluded, as are bedding, mattresses, bath and kids' products once unwrapped.
Assembled products are a special case. They are accepted only with a manufacturing defect, and Babyshop examines the item and then chooses whether to repair or replace it. A defective product is always taken back. There is no exchange service, so a different colour or size means a return plus a new purchase.
- Count 14 days from the delivery date and check the item is not furniture or in an excluded group.
- Do not assemble a product until you are sure you are keeping it, since assembled items are accepted only for a manufacturing defect.
- Repack it in the original packaging with the invoice, accessories, promotional gifts and warranty card.
- Start the return through the Babyshop Saudi help centre or your account.
- Order the replacement size or colour separately if you still need one.
Refunds and the delivery fee
Babyshop's Saudi help centre states one useful refund rule: when the original order was SAR 200 or more, shipping is not deducted from your refund. So if you spent SAR 260, received free delivery and then return a SAR 80 item, the refund should not be reduced by a delivery charge. The number of days a refund takes, and how it differs between card and cash orders, is not given in the articles we read.
Payment options
The Saudi store takes Visa and Mastercard credit and debit cards issued in Saudi Arabia or abroad, cash on delivery, PayPal, gift cards, Shukran points and Tabby. Because cash on delivery carries a SAR 17 service charge, a SAR 150 basket paid in cash costs SAR 27 more than its price, while the same basket paid by card costs SAR 10 more. Shukran points can be applied from a balance of 200 using the slider at checkout. Promo codes are listed on our Babyshop coupon page.

Frequently asked questions
When will a Babyshop order arrive in Riyadh, Jeddah or Dammam?
Within 2 business days when you order before 12:00 PM. Elsewhere in Saudi Arabia, orders placed before the same cut-off take 4 business days. Products that need assembly are not on these timings: you book a date and time at checkout, with a 2-day Express option for an extra SAR 100.
Can I return a stroller or cot after assembling it?
Only if it has a manufacturing defect. The Saudi policy excludes assembled products otherwise, and for a defective one Babyshop inspects it and decides whether to repair or replace it. To keep the 14-day return option open, check the box contents and the item's condition before you start putting it together.
What paperwork do I need to include with a return?
The original invoice, plus every accessory, any promotional gift that came with the order and the warranty card. The item itself must be in its original packaging and sent back within 14 days of delivery. Missing pieces can be a reason for a return to be refused, so keep everything together until you decide.
Does Babyshop Saudi Arabia accept PayPal?
Yes. PayPal is listed for the Saudi store along with Saudi and international Visa and Mastercard cards, cash on delivery, gift cards, Shukran points and Tabby. Paying by PayPal or card avoids the SAR 17 service charge that applies to cash on delivery.
Is 2-day Express available for everything?
The Saudi help article mentions 2-day Express, for an extra SAR 100, only for products that need assembly. Other items follow the standard timings: 2 business days to Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam and 4 business days elsewhere for orders placed before 12:00 PM. A faster option for small items is not described.
Can I exchange a size at Babyshop in Saudi Arabia?
No, the Saudi policy says there is no exchange service. Return the original item within 14 days of delivery and buy the size you need as a new order. If the new order is below SAR 200 it pays the SAR 10 delivery fee, so it can be worth adding anything else you were planning to buy.
