Ajmal is one of the few perfume houses that runs six separate Gulf online stores, and they really are separate: each has its own prices, its own delivery fee and its own free-delivery threshold, and none of them ships across a border. A coupon that works in Dubai tells you nothing certain about Riyadh or Muscat, so this page treats each country on its own terms.

We read every Ajmal shipping and returns page on 18 October 2026. How Ajmal codes work

Ajmal does not publish a welcome code or a public promo code on any of its six Gulf stores that we checked. What the stores do publish is a free-delivery threshold, which works like a standing shipping offer, and from time to time a price promotion on the homepage, such as the selection of perfumes the Saudi store was showing at SAR 96. Everything else on our list is a reported code: a discount that other coupon sites say works, not one Ajmal has confirmed.

Those reported codes are modest. In the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman, the codes in circulation offer 10% off. Saudi Arabia has a wider spread, with reported codes at 5%, 6% and 10%. The listings describe them as open to all customers, with no minimum spend, and in some cases as working on sale items too. Because no one at Ajmal stands behind those claims, treat them as something to test at checkout rather than a promise. If a code is accepted, the discount appears on the order total before you pay, so you never have to commit before you see the saving.

Getting the most from a code at Ajmal

The biggest trap is the free-delivery threshold. Each Ajmal store applies it to the basket after the discount, so a code can push a borderline order back under the line and add a delivery fee that cancels much of the saving. In the UAE that line is AED 200 and the fee AED 15; in Qatar it is QAR 100 against a QAR 15 fee. Check the total after the code goes in, and add a small item if you have slipped under.

Weight matters for bulk buyers. In the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar and Oman, the standard delivery rates cover parcels up to 5 kg, with a per-kilogram charge after that, which can matter if you are ordering several gift sets or a large amount of bakhoor. In Saudi Arabia, the bigger issue is sale stock: discounted items cannot be returned there at all, so using a code on a promotion means you keep what arrives. Across the Gulf, oud wood and perfume oils are non-returnable, which makes trying a scent in a branch first a sensible step before spending a code on it.

Delivery and returns across the Gulf

Free-delivery thresholds vary widely. The UAE store charges AED 15 below AED 200. Saudi Arabia charges SAR 20 below SAR 195. Kuwait has the lowest bar at KWD 10, with KWD 1.500 below it. Qatar charges QAR 15 below QAR 100, Bahrain BHD 1.500 below BHD 20, and Oman OMR 2 below OMR 50, which is the highest threshold of the six relative to typical Ajmal prices. Delivery takes 2 to 3 working days in the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman, and 3 to 7 working days in Saudi Arabia via Aramex. Note the working week: the UAE store counts Monday to Friday, while Kuwait, Qatar and Bahrain count Sunday to Thursday.

Returns are narrow everywhere. In five countries you have 7 days from delivery, and only for a manufacturing fault or the wrong product; a scent you simply dislike does not qualify. Saudi Arabia is stricter still at 3 days, or 7 working days for a defect, with exchanges currently unavailable and refunds taking 7 to 20 working days. Whether return shipping is free is not published for any country except Saudi Arabia, where it is not free. Delivery fees are not refunded in the UAE.

Paying at Ajmal in each Gulf country

The payment menu is the same in all six countries: credit or debit card, Apple Pay, or cash on delivery. In the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar and Oman, the stores note that cash on delivery is taken in local currency. No Ajmal store publishes a cash-on-delivery fee, so we cannot tell you whether one applies. Tabby and Tamara are not offered anywhere, so there is no instalment option, and none of the stores names a local network such as mada, KNET, BENEFIT or OmanNet on its payment list.

The choice between card and cash matters more here than at most perfume stores because of refunds. The UAE store says a cash-on-delivery order is never refunded as cash, and the Saudi store says it does not refund cash-on-delivery orders at all. Bahrain's help pages say only orders paid online are refunded. Since a defective bottle or a wrong item is the only reason you can return anything, paying by card or Apple Pay keeps the refund route open if that happens. For a low-value order you are sure about, cash on delivery remains a convenient option in every country.

When an Ajmal code is rejected

Start with the country. Ajmal's six Gulf stores are separate shops, and a code reported for the UAE store may not exist on the Saudi or Omani one. Make sure you are on the site for the country you live in, which you need anyway because none of the stores delivers across borders. Next, remember what kind of code you have. Almost every code on our list is reported by other coupon sites, not published by Ajmal, so it can be switched off without notice, and a failure often just means it has ended.

Sale and promotional prices are another common cause. Some listings say the codes work on sale items, but Ajmal does not confirm that, and a homepage offer such as the Saudi SAR 96 perfume selection may already be the full discount. If a code goes through but the total looks wrong, check whether the delivery fee has reappeared because the discount pushed you below the free-delivery threshold. When nothing works, remove the code and compare the plain price with any bundle or sale section, and ask the store's customer service before placing a large order.
