HungerStation Saudi Arabia: delivery, returns and customer service

Reviewed by Fadi NasserUpdated

In short

This page explains how HungerStation orders work in Saudi Arabia once you have placed them: where to get help, what the fees are, how late orders can be cancelled and how money comes back. The two numbers most people need are the 2 working days a card refund can take and the 20% saving on orders you collect yourself.

Customer service

HungerStation handles support inside its app. The Help Center there is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and it is the channel the store points customers to for order problems, payment questions and offer issues.

A public phone number or support email address for Saudi customers is not published in the material we hold, so plan on using the in-app Help Center rather than calling. Start the conversation from the affected order where you can, so the agent sees the venue, the items and the payment method straight away.

Delivery areas, fees and pick-up

Coverage runs to over 102 cities across the Kingdom. Besides restaurants, it lists grocery stores, its own HMarket, pharmacies and flower shops, and each of these sets its own delivery fee. The fee is printed beside the venue name in the app before you open the menu, so you can compare two places serving the same dish before you choose.

On top of the delivery fee, every order carries a service fee. Its amount is not published as a fixed figure. Free delivery reaches you in two ways only: the first twelve months after a new account is opened, and the paid HPlus plan, which applies at included venues once the basket clears that venue's minimum. HPlus pricing appears in the app and is not identical for every customer.

Collecting the order yourself is the third route. HungerStation takes 20% off pick-up orders, and HPlus members get a larger pick-up saving. HungerStation does not publish a standard delivery time for Saudi Arabia; the app shows a promised time for each order instead.

Following and changing an order

The promised time shown in the app is the number to watch, because it decides whether you can cancel later. Note it when you place the order, or take a screenshot, so you have it if you need to contact support.

HungerStation does not publish a procedure for editing items or the address after an order is sent. If something needs to change, contact the Help Center at once and ask; do not assume a change is possible once the venue has started preparing the food.

Cancelling a late order

The cancellation rule HungerStation publishes is tied to lateness: an order that overruns its promised delivery time on the app may be cancelled by you. If the cancel option does not appear on screen, request the cancellation through the Help Center and mention the promised time.

HungerStation does not publish a rule for cancelling an order that is still running on time, or any fee for doing so, so ask support before you rely on it.

Problems with a delivered order

Food and grocery orders are not sent back like parcels, and no return period or free-returns rule is published. A problem with what arrived is handled as a support case in the app.

  1. Open the HungerStation app and go to the Help Center, which runs 24/7.
  2. Choose the order concerned so its details travel with your message.
  3. Describe what went wrong and attach photos of the items as they arrived.
  4. Say how you paid, since card refunds and other methods are handled differently.
  5. Keep the chat open until the agent confirms what will be refunded or resent.

Refunds

For orders paid by credit or debit card, a refund can need 2 working days to reach the card. That is the only refund time HungerStation publishes. How long refunds take for cash on delivery, STC Pay, Tabby or wallet payments is not stated, so ask the agent which method the money will go back to and when.

Payment methods

Saudi orders can be paid by cash on delivery, credit or debit card, STC Pay, Tabby or HungerStation wallet balance. Cash orders carry a cash fee whose amount is not published, and the HPlus plan does not remove it. Our summary data lists Apple Pay, yet the store's payment list leaves it out; look for it on the checkout screen before counting on it. Tamara is not listed.

Two payment rules affect offers. Coupons cannot be used when the order is paid from the wallet, and only one offer can sit on an order. Coupon details are on the HungerStation coupon page.

Frequently asked questions

Does HungerStation have a customer service phone number in Saudi Arabia?

No public number is published in the material we hold. HungerStation sends customers to its in-app Help Center, staffed 24/7. Select the order in question before you write, so the agent can see the venue, the items and how you paid without asking you to repeat them.

When can I cancel a HungerStation order?

You can cancel once the order has passed the delivery time promised in the app. That is the cancellation rule HungerStation publishes. Rules for cancelling an order that is still on schedule are not published, so if you change your mind early, contact the Help Center straight away and ask before the venue starts cooking.

How long does a HungerStation card refund take?

Up to 2 working days for a credit or debit card, according to the store. For example, a refund agreed on a Sunday would normally be on the card by Tuesday. Timings for cash, STC Pay, Tabby and wallet refunds are not published, so ask the agent when the money will arrive.

Is there a return policy for HungerStation orders?

Not in the usual sense. HungerStation publishes no return window or free-returns rule, which fits food and grocery orders. If an order arrives wrong or damaged, raise it in the in-app Help Center with photos while the order is still recent, and the agent will decide what is refunded or resent.

Is there a fee for paying HungerStation in cash?

Yes. Cash on delivery orders carry a cash fee. Its amount is not published, and an HPlus subscription does not waive it. Choosing a card, STC Pay or Tabby sidesteps it, and unlike wallet balance, those methods still let you apply a coupon to the order.

How long does HungerStation delivery take?

There is no single published delivery time for Saudi Arabia. Each order gets its own promised time in the app, which depends on the venue and your location among the 102-plus cities covered. Keep that time in mind: if the order runs past it, you gain the right to cancel.
