Golden Scent sells perfume and beauty through four Gulf stores, in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman and the UAE. The Saudi store is the most generous, with free delivery on larger prepaid orders and delivery in 1 to 3 working days, while the UAE, Kuwait and Oman stores charge delivery on every order and take 5 to 8 working days.

How Golden Scent codes work

Golden Scent offers fall into three groups. The first and largest is reported codes from coupon sites, mostly 5% or 10% off, with a few fixed amounts such as SAR 50 off a SAR 400 order in Saudi Arabia or AED 30 off in the UAE. Some are first-order codes for new customers on the website or app, and a few are tied to one category or one brand. The second group is the store's own offers: free delivery from SAR 369 on prepaid Saudi orders and 5% wallet cashback for signed-in customers in Saudi Arabia and the UAE. The third is codes the UAE store itself shows, one in a banner across the top of the site and another it suggests when a code you typed is rejected.

Golden Scent's FAQ sets the rules every code follows. Only one code can be used per order. Codes are refused on orders below SAR 200 or the equivalent in local currency. And they do not apply to Tom Ford, Chanel, Dior, Arabic brands, Thameen or Dr. Vranjes, or to anything in a flash sale or clearance. Listings often quote values that the checkout does not honour, so treat the percentage on a coupon site as a claim until the order summary confirms it.

Getting the most from a code here

Because only one code fits each order, the real choice is which code, and the answer depends on the basket. A fixed-amount code beats a percentage on a smaller order, while 10% wins on a large one, so compare the two in the basket before you pay. First-order codes are worth saving for your first purchase. Keep the basket clear of excluded brands and sale lines: a single Dior bottle will not take a discount, and a code may then fail on the whole order if nothing else qualifies. One listing for Kuwait and Oman says a code adds 5% on top of markdowns, but Golden Scent's own rule excludes flash sales and clearance.

Wallet cashback is the one extra you can combine with a code. In Saudi Arabia and the UAE, signed-in customers get 5% back on delivered orders, credited after 3 days and valid for 6 months, and redeeming it is capped at 5% of an order; in Saudi Arabia the cart must reach SAR 250 to use it. In Saudi Arabia also watch two thresholds: free delivery from SAR 369 is counted after the code discount, and orders under SAR 180 pay a SAR 15 service fee.

Delivery and returns across the Gulf

Saudi Arabia is the only Golden Scent market with free delivery: prepaid orders of SAR 369 or more ship free, smaller ones pay SAR 19, and parcels arrive in 1 to 3 working days. Riyadh also has express delivery on selected items for SAR 20, and Saudi customers can collect from RedBox lockers or FODEL points. Elsewhere, delivery is charged on every order. The UAE delivery page gives two figures, AED 40 at one point and AED 30 at another; Kuwait pays KWD 3 and Oman OMR 10. All three take 5 to 8 working days, and in Oman, addresses outside the main cities may be redirected to the nearest courier office for collection.

Returns are narrow everywhere the policy is published. In Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Oman, Golden Scent takes back faulty or wrong items, not a change of mind. Saudi customers must tell customer care within 24 hours, and makeup, personal care products and gift sets cannot be returned there. UAE refunds go to the original payment method or come as a voucher, and neither the delivery fee nor the cash on delivery fee is refunded. Oman returns go through care@goldenscent.com, again without a delivery fee refund. Kuwait's return terms are not published in our facts.

Paying for Golden Scent orders

Saudi Arabia has the broadest payment list: Apple Pay, mada, stc pay, Visa, Mastercard, Tabby and Tamara, with Al Rajhi Tasaheel instalments available on orders from SAR 350. Cash on delivery is also available for SAR 40, but it costs more than the fee alone suggests, because a cash order never qualifies for free delivery. On a SAR 400 basket, paying cash means SAR 40 plus SAR 19 delivery instead of nothing.

The UAE store offers cash on delivery for AED 40, and you avoid it by paying with a card or Apple Pay; Tabby and Tamara are not listed for the UAE in our facts. Kuwait and Oman are prepaid only, with cash on delivery not available for either, and the specific card types, KNET and OmanNet are not named in what we read, so check the payment step before you order. Wallet cashback, where it applies, is a credit on later orders rather than a payment method, and it covers Saudi Arabia and the UAE only.

When a Golden Scent code is rejected

Start with the store's own rules. A code fails if the order is under SAR 200 or the local equivalent, if the basket holds only excluded brands such as Tom Ford, Chanel or Dior, or only flash sale and clearance items, or if another code is already applied. A first-order code will not work on an account that has bought before, and codes listed for one brand or for makeup only will be refused on other products. When we tested on a perfume from a different house, both a brand-specific code and a makeup code were turned down for exactly that reason.

Then there is the code itself. In our UAE test on 17 October 2026, several codes listed on coupon sites came back as not valid, and two that worked took off less than advertised: one listed at 15% removed 5%, another listed at 10% removed a flat AED 30. So if a code fails, try a different one rather than retyping it. In the UAE, the code in the store's top banner worked, and Golden Scent itself suggests an alternative code when you enter one it rejects.
