Quick answer

Deliveroo codes are set per country. Right now we track 5 live offers across 2 countries; the UAE has the most (4). Pick your country below for the strongest code there.

Deliveroo now runs in two Gulf countries, the UAE and Kuwait, after closing in Qatar in March 2026. The two markets look alike on the surface, with location-based delivery fees and a Plus Gold membership, but the details differ: Plus Gold costs from AED 19 a month in the UAE and KWD 3.5 in Kuwait, and the free-delivery minimums and extras are not the same.

On codes, the UAE has reported first-order and general discounts of up to 50%, while we hold no current codes for Kuwait. For most regular users, Plus does more to cut costs than any code. This guide explains how fees, codes, Plus refunds and payment work in each country, using facts read on 18 October 2026.

How Deliveroo codes work

Deliveroo codes are instant discounts taken off the order at checkout, on the app or the website. In the UAE, two kinds are reported by coupon sites: a first-order code for new customers, listed at 50% off, and a general code listed as up to 50% off food and grocery orders. These are reported rather than published by Deliveroo, so their caps and minimums come only from the listing site, and the real limit may be lower than the headline percentage.

The official, standing savings come from Deliveroo Plus rather than codes. In the UAE, Plus Gold starts at AED 19 monthly and removes the delivery fee on restaurant orders over AED 30 and grocery or shop orders over AED 50; Plus Silver, available through partners such as Amazon Prime, does the same over AED 60. In Kuwait, Plus Gold is KWD 3.5 a month, with free delivery from KWD 2.5, plus 5% returned as credit on grocery orders of KWD 12 or more, and KWD 2.5 credit when an order runs more than 15 minutes late. We hold no current codes for Kuwait. One detail matters for every UAE code: the service fee is worked out from the pre-discount order value, so a code lowers the food bill but not that fee.

Getting the most from a code here

Start by knowing what a code cannot touch. In the UAE, the service fee is worked out from the order value before any discount, with a minimum and a maximum, and a small-order fee applies if your basket is under the restaurant's minimum. A 50% code on a small basket can therefore leave you paying a full service fee plus a small-order fee. Building the order up to the restaurant's minimum before applying a code avoids that second charge.

Then decide whether Plus beats a code over a month. If you order a few times a week in the UAE, Plus Gold's free delivery above AED 30 at restaurants may save more than a single first-order discount, and if you already have Amazon Prime, Plus Silver comes through the partner with an AED 60 threshold. In Kuwait, where we found no active codes, Plus Gold's KWD 2.5 threshold covers most single meals, and its late-order credit adds a little more value. Both countries let you cancel Plus within the first 14 days for a full refund, so you can test it during a busy fortnight. In Kuwait, any Deliveroo credit you receive must be used within 3 months. The facts do not say whether codes and Plus benefits can be used on the same order, so check the checkout summary.

Delivery fees and refunds across the Gulf

Neither country publishes a single delivery fee. In both the UAE and Kuwait the charge depends on your location, and restaurants that use their own drivers set their own fees, so two places on the same street can cost different amounts. In the UAE, the fee is shown before you pick a restaurant, which makes it easy to compare. Free delivery comes through Plus: in the UAE over AED 30 at restaurants and AED 50 at grocers with Plus Gold, or over AED 60 with Plus Silver; in Kuwait over KWD 2.5 with Plus Gold.

Because Deliveroo delivers food rather than goods, there are no product return windows. What matters instead is what happens when an order goes wrong or a subscription is not working out. In Kuwait, a cancelled or rejected order is refunded in full within about 6 hours, and Deliveroo credit lapses 3 months after it is issued. In both countries, Plus can be refunded in full if you ask within the first 14 days. UAE Deliveroo covers Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, North Sharjah, Ajman and Al Ain. Refund timing for cancelled UAE orders is not published in our facts.

Paying for a Deliveroo order

In the UAE you can pay by card or in cash, but the cash option only appears for restaurants and partners that accept it, so you may see it for one place and not another. A fee for paying cash is not published. Tabby, Tamara and Apple Pay are not mentioned in our UAE facts.

Kuwait is card-based. Deliveroo's Kuwait FAQ says all debit and credit cards are accepted through Visa or Mastercard gateways. KNET is not named directly, so if you use a local debit card, check that it runs on one of those networks. When you add a card, Deliveroo may place a temporary hold of KWD 0.300 to check it; this is reversed straight away, though your bank can need up to 7 days before it shows the release. Cash on delivery is not listed for Kuwait. In neither country do our facts mention buy-now-pay-later services, which is typical for a food order where the basket is small. If a payment problem comes up, UAE support is reached through the app or customersupport@deliveroo.ae, and Kuwait support through customersupport@deliveroo.com.kw.

When a Deliveroo code is rejected

The commonest reason is eligibility. The UAE first-order code reported at 50% is for new customers only, so it will not work on an account that has ordered before. Codes reported by coupon sites can also expire or reach their usage limit without notice, and their terms, such as which restaurants or grocers are included, come only from the listing. A UAE code will not help in Kuwait either, as the two countries run separate sites and we found no current codes for Kuwait.

If the code is accepted but the saving looks smaller than expected, check the fees. The UAE service fee is calculated before discounts, and a small-order fee kicks in under the restaurant's minimum, so both can absorb part of the discount. Restaurants that deliver with their own riders also set their own delivery fee. When a code fails, the next options are Plus, which can be refunded in full within the first 14 days, or ordering from a restaurant whose delivery fee for your area is lower. For an order that went wrong, contact support through the app or the country's support email: customersupport@deliveroo.ae for the UAE and customersupport@deliveroo.com.kw for Kuwait.

How to use a Deliveroo code

  1. Open the Deliveroo app or website for your country (deliveroo.ae or deliveroo.com.kw) and sign in.
  2. Pick a restaurant or grocer; the delivery fee for your location shows before you choose.
  3. Add your items and go to checkout, where you can add a voucher or promo code before paying.
  4. Check the totals after applying it: the discount comes off the food, but in the UAE the service fee is worked out on the price before discounts.
  5. Choose card, or cash where the restaurant accepts it, and place the order.

Frequently asked questions

Which Gulf countries does Deliveroo serve online?

Deliveroo sells online in UAE, Kuwait, each with its own store and prices in local currency. We list codes and delivery terms for each of these countries separately.

Where are there the most Deliveroo codes right now?

Deliveroo codes are set per country. Right now we track 5 live offers across 2 countries; the UAE has the most (4). Pick your country below for the strongest code there.

Does Deliveroo offer free delivery?

With Deliveroo Plus, yes. In the UAE, Plus Gold removes the delivery fee on restaurant orders over AED 30 and grocery or shop orders over AED 50, and Plus Silver does so over AED 60. In Kuwait, Plus Gold gives free delivery over KWD 2.5. Without Plus, delivery fees vary by location and restaurant.

How much does Deliveroo Plus cost?

From AED 19 a month in the UAE, and KWD 3.5 a month in Kuwait, for Plus Gold. UAE shoppers can also get Plus Silver through partners such as Amazon Prime. In both countries, you can ask for a full refund of Plus within the first 14 days if it is not worth it for you.

Does a Deliveroo code lower the service fee?

No, in the UAE. The service fee is worked out from the pre-discount order value, within a set minimum and maximum, so a code reduces the food total but leaves that fee unchanged. A small-order fee can also apply below the restaurant's minimum. Our Kuwait facts do not describe the service fee.

Do Deliveroo codes work for existing customers?

Some do. In the UAE, the reported first-order code at 50% is for new customers only, while another reported code, listed as up to 50% off food and grocery, is marked for all customers. Both are reported by coupon sites, so terms can change. We found no current codes for Kuwait.

Can I pay Deliveroo in cash?

In the UAE, sometimes. Cash appears as a payment option only where the restaurant or partner accepts it, and no cash fee is published. In Kuwait, our facts list debit and credit cards through Visa or Mastercard gateways only, so plan to pay by card there.

Can I get a refund on Deliveroo Plus?

Yes, within 14 days. In both the UAE and Kuwait, Deliveroo refunds Plus in full if you request it within the first 14 days of the membership. After that, the facts do not describe a refund, so decide during the first two weeks whether the savings justify the monthly fee.

Is Deliveroo still available in Qatar?

No. Deliveroo closed in Qatar in March 2026. In the Gulf it now operates in the UAE, where it has run since 2015, and in Kuwait, where it has been since 2019. Codes or Plus memberships from those countries cannot be used for orders in Qatar.

How do I contact Deliveroo customer service?

Through the app or by email. In the UAE, support is available in the app or at customersupport@deliveroo.ae, and Plus Gold members get priority support. In Kuwait, the support email is customersupport@deliveroo.com.kw. Include your order number so the team can trace the problem.
