White Friday 2026 in the Gulf: dates so far and code rules

What is officially known on 26 October 2026

We checked the stores' own sale pages on 26 October 2026. None of them showed 2026 dates yet. This is what each page said:

• Amazon.ae and Amazon.sa: both White Friday pages are titled "White Friday 2026". The UAE page carries a "See you next White Friday Sale" banner and says the sale is "usually around the last Friday in November" with early access to all deals for Prime members. No start or end date is given.
• Amazon's seller page: the deals and coupons page for sellers still lists the 2025 deadlines and says final dates are released closer to the event.
• noon: the UAE and Saudi Yellow Friday pages still describe the 2025 sale.
• eXtra Saudi Arabia: its White Friday page is still branded "White Friday 2025" and shows a "Starts in" countdown with no date.

The only firm 2026 date is the calendar one. Black Friday is the day after US Thanksgiving, which in 2026 is Thursday 26 November, so Black Friday is Friday 27 November 2026. We will update this page when stores publish their dates.

Three names for one season

Gulf shoppers meet three names in November, and they mostly point to the same weeks:

• White Friday is Amazon's name. Its page says this is the name it uses in the Middle East for the Black Friday season, and calls it its biggest sale of the year, with discounts of up to 70%. eXtra also uses the name.
• Yellow Friday belongs to noon, which calls it the biggest shopping week of the year, with discounts of up to 70% across departments.
• Black Friday is the single calendar day. noon treats it as one day inside its longer Yellow Friday window.

The practical point: the name tells you which store, not how long the deals last. In 2025 noon's event ran for eleven days, while the bank codes tied to Amazon's event ran for five or six. Plan around each store's window, not around the Friday.

Last year's dates, and what they suggest for 2026

Every 2026 date below is an expectation built on the 2025 pattern. Treat it as a planning guide until the store confirms.

One pattern is worth noting. In 2025 Amazon's bank codes started on a Thursday, eight days before Black Friday, and ended on the Tuesday before it. noon's sale started on the same Thursday and ran past the weekend. If 2026 follows that shape, the busiest shopping days would be from Thursday 19 November to Monday 30 November. That is our estimate, not an announcement.

Country by country: what to watch

The season is regional, but local holidays and store coverage differ:

Oman's overlap. Royal Decree 15/2025 set the National Day holiday on 20 and 21 November. In 2026, 20 November is a Friday, at the start of the likely sale window. The days off can still move: for 2025 the Oman News Agency announced 26 and 27 November as the official holiday. The 2026 holiday had not been announced as of 26 October.

If your country has no local store for a retailer, compare the final delivered price, including shipping and any customs charges, not the headline discount. See the country pages for Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman.

How codes behave during the sale

Sale weeks change the rules on codes more than the rest of the year. These are the rules written on the stores' and banks' own pages:

• One discount per order at noon. noon's bank partnerships page says only one discount can be applied per order. A voucher, promo code or noon credits used on the order blocks the bank discount. Bank discounts apply automatically when you pay with an eligible card, and payments through digital wallets such as Apple Pay do not qualify.
• Amazon offers do not combine by default. Amazon's qualified promotions terms say an offer cannot be used with any other offer unless the landing page says so. The offer also needs the same delivery speed for every item in it.
• Returns can undo a discount. Under the same Amazon terms, if a return takes you below a minimum spend, Amazon may charge you for the discount on your original payment method.
• Bank codes have exclusion lists. ADCB's 2025 Amazon White Friday codes gave 20% off with a AED 100 minimum spend, capped at AED 150 or AED 100. They excluded mobile phones and other wireless products, Amazon Global Store items, gift cards, Amazon Now and Amazon Fresh, and could not be used with buy now, pay later or trade-in.
• Cashback arrives later. noon's coupon cashback is added as noon credits within a few days of delivery, and each amount has its own expiry date.

Use the cap to size your basket. A 20% code capped at AED 150 reaches its full value at AED 750. Spending more than that adds no extra discount.

Delivery during peak week

Sale weeks put the most pressure on delivery, and the stores' own help pages explain why your options can change at checkout:

• Fees and speeds depend on time and place. noon's delivery fees page says fees depend on your city, the delivery option and the time you order, are shown at checkout before you pay, and that same-day and next-day delivery may not be available in all areas.
• Mixed speeds can break an Amazon offer. Amazon's qualified promotions need the same delivery speed for all items in the offer. If one item ships later, check the delivery details before you pay, or the deal may drop off.
• Gifts with a deadline. In the UAE, the National Day holiday on 2 and 3 December follows the main sale week. If something must arrive before then, order it early in the sale rather than on the last day.

A four-week plan for fashion, beauty and kids' buys

1. Now to early November: record prices. Save the current price of each item you want, with a screenshot and the date. Up-to-70% banners mean little unless you know the price before the sale.
2. Before the sale starts: sort sizes and returns. Clothes, shoes and kids' items are the categories most often returned for size. Read the store's return window before you buy; our returns table compares them.
3. The week before: decide on memberships. Amazon gives Prime members early access to all White Friday deals. If you would join only for the sale, check the cancellation rules first.
4. During the sale: one code per basket. At noon a bank discount and a promo code will not combine, so test both at checkout and keep the bigger one. Split a large haul into baskets that each reach the bank code's full cap.
5. After the sale: watch the credits. Note when cashback should arrive and when it expires, and keep track of return deadlines for anything bought in several sizes.
