The hotline number is not given on the page. The Qatar terms send order problems, late deliveries and account deletion requests to the in-app chat and Help Center. Questions about rider tips can also go by email. ## Delivery, leave-at-door and pick-up Delivery times in Qatar are estimates and can move with order size, distance, peak hours, weather and traffic. The terms say delivery, service and small-basket fees are shown before checkout, without giving amounts. Be reachable when the rider arrives. If you cannot be contacted or do not take the order within 5 minutes of arrival, talabat may cancel it without a refund or, for eligible prepaid food and grocery orders, leave it at the door. A doorstep drop is recorded with photos, GPS coordinates and a timestamp, and from then on the order is your responsibility. Restricted goods are never left at the door. For pick-up, the merchant holds the order for up to 30 minutes after the collection time. Check it before leaving and raise problems with the merchant on the spot. ## Tracking and changing an order Check My Orders in the app to confirm an order was received; it should show the status Successful. Each restaurant lists its delivery estimate in its Info section. Contact talabat to add, remove or change items. Once the restaurant has dispatched the order, anything added may count as a new order. ## Cancelling Food orders from restaurants, cafés, juice bars and pastry shops cannot be cancelled or refunded once the merchant accepts them, unless talabat or the merchant caused the problem. For card payments, the terms limit cancellation to 5 minutes after ordering. The FAQ adds a late-delivery exit: if an order is more than 20 minutes past the restaurant's promised delivery time, you may cancel. Non-food orders such as groceries, flowers, electronics and health and beauty products follow Qatar consumer protection law. ## Missing, wrong or damaged items There is no return process for meals; problems are raised as complaints. If talabat finds the order unsatisfactory, it compensates you for all or part of it, and a delay confirmed as significant is compensated too. - Check the order as soon as it arrives, or before you leave the shop on a pick-up. - Contact support through in-app chat right away; for complaints you can also call the call centre. - Provide photos or other details if talabat asks. - Wait for customer service to take it up with the restaurant and report back. - Say whether any refund should go to talabat credit or to your card. ## Refunds Refunds go to talabat credit unless you ask for the original payment method. For card payments, the Qatar terms say talabat starts the refund within 2 to 7 working days, after which timing depends on the bank and Qatar Central Bank processes. Overall the terms allow 7 to 14 business days, or up to 30 days for overseas banks. The FAQ quotes up to 6 days for Mastercard and Visa. A rider tip on a refunded order goes back the same way as the order. ## Payment, tips and restricted goods Three card networks appear in the Qatar FAQ: Visa, Mastercard and American Express. The terms also mention cash on delivery: if you choose it, only cash is accepted, so have the exact total ready. Online payments are processed by third-party providers, and the card must be yours with enough funds. Tips are chosen at checkout on all orders except cash-on-delivery and merchant-delivered ones, and the rider receives the full amount. For restricted goods such as medicines, you must be of legal age, and talabat or the merchant may ask for ID or a valid prescription, or refuse delivery. These orders are never contactless. If you cannot be reached or do not take the order within 5 minutes of the rider arriving, talabat may cancel it without a refund. Pro renews every 30 days, and if talabat changes the price it gives 30 days' notice, during which you can cancel. Benefits work on one device and cannot be exchanged for cash. ### How does the pro family plan work in Qatar? The owner adds or removes members, and each member needs an active individual pro membership in the same country. Members place their own orders, the owner can set spending limits, and refunds on members' orders go to the owner's payment method. If the owner cancels, the plan ends at expiry. The member limit is shown in the app. ### How long will a restaurant keep my pick-up order? Up to 30 minutes after the collection time, under the Qatar terms. Check the order before leaving the premises and report any problem to the merchant there.
