Start any order query from the help centre on the website or in the MAF Carrefour app, and have your order note to hand: the returns process asks for it. ## How delivery is charged Three things set the delivery charge in Saudi Arabia: how heavy the goods are, how bulky they are and the address they go to. A family in one city can therefore pay a different fee from a family elsewhere for a similar basket. Groceries and general merchandise travel under separate charges, which is why a basket of milk plus a hair dryer shows two fees. Carrefour KSA has published three free-delivery figures in different places: SAR 120, SAR 100 and SAR 50. Read the delivery line in the cart after your last item is added; that line is final. Delivery slots, times and the list of covered cities are not in our file. ## Sending an item back Deadlines run from delivery and differ by category. Fresh produce, meat and dairy must be raised on the same business day. Electronics get 3 days. Everything else that is not food gets 7. Returns go back either by a collection from your home, for which Carrefour may charge, or over the counter at a Carrefour hypermarket, which has no collection charge. - Work out your deadline from the delivery date and the product type. - Repack the item in the box it came in, with every accessory. - Put the order note from the delivery in with it. - Book a home collection, or take the parcel to the closest Carrefour hypermarket. - Ask for and keep proof that you handed the item over. ## Refunds Neither the timing of a refund nor the way it is paid is stated on the Saudi pages we hold, including for orders settled in cash at the door. When you hand an item over, ask how and when the money will come back and write the answer next to your order number. ## Payment methods Online orders can be paid with Visa or Mastercard, or in cash when the order arrives. The card has to come from a bank in Saudi Arabia or another Gulf state; a card from abroad is refused at the gateway, so cash at the door is the fallback. Only if you use home collection, and even then Carrefour says a charge may apply rather than will. Taking the item to a Carrefour hypermarket yourself carries no collection charge. Whichever route you choose, repack the item in its original box and include the order note, and stay within the 3-day limit for electronics or 7 days for other non-food goods. ### What should be inside the parcel when I return something? The item in its original packaging and the order note that came with the delivery. Those are the two conditions Carrefour KSA sets for both home collection and hypermarket returns. Keep all accessories, manuals and cables in the box too, since an item that is not in its original packaging does not meet the published rule. ### How long does a Carrefour KSA refund take? The Saudi pages we hold do not say, and they do not explain whether money returns to the card or by another route for cash orders. Ask when you hand the item over, note the answer with your order number, and follow up through the help centre on the website or app if the money has not appeared by the date you were given. ### Can I pay Carrefour KSA with a card from my home country? Only if that country is in the GCC. The Saudi gateway takes Visa and Mastercard issued by Saudi or other Gulf banks and rejects cards from elsewhere.
