The articles we read do not list a phone number, an email address or support hours, so start from the help centre or your account when you need to raise a problem with an order. ## Delivery speeds, cut-offs and charges For everyday items the clock matters more than the address. An order in by 3:30 PM on a Saturday to Thursday is due the next business day. Miss that cut-off, or order on a Friday, and the estimate becomes 2 to 3 business days. Babyshop notes that some areas take longer without naming them, and it does not deliver to free zones. Same-day delivery costs an extra AED 18 and covers only some neighbourhoods of Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman, for orders in by 12:00 PM on a business day. Standard delivery is free once the order reaches AED 200 and costs AED 10 below that. So a Friday-morning order of AED 150 will pay AED 10 and land 2 to 3 business days later, while the same basket placed on a Sunday at 11 AM in a covered part of Dubai could arrive that day for the extra fee. Cots, wardrobes and other products that need assembly follow a separate route. At checkout you pick the delivery date and time, either as a scheduled delivery or as 2-day Express for an extra AED 150. ## Tracking, changes and cancelling The delivery estimate for your basket is shown on the checkout page before you pay, which is the best moment to check whether a same-day or Express option is worth it. Babyshop does not explain order tracking, address changes or cancellation in the UAE articles we read. If you need to change something, contact Babyshop through the help centre as early as possible, ideally before the cut-off that would send your order out. ## Returning an item You have 14 days from delivery to send back anything that is not furniture, and it has to be in the box or wrapping it came in. Furniture is outside that 14-day rule, and the article does not give a separate window for it. Several groups cannot be returned once opened or used: lingerie, jewellery, nursing and maternity items such as bottle warmers, opened nappies, toiletries, perfumes and cosmetics, and bedding, mattresses and bath products taken out of their packaging. Anything used, altered, assembled or installed is refused too, as is damage from misuse or wear, even under warranty. Faulty products are the exception and are taken back. Babyshop does not exchange items. If a romper is the wrong size, you send it back and buy the right size as a fresh order. The policy article does not describe how to book the return itself, so the steps below cover what the policy asks of you. - Check the date: you have 14 days from delivery, and furniture follows different rules. - Make sure the item is not in an excluded group and has not been used or assembled, unless it is faulty. - Pack it in the original packaging with the original invoice, every accessory, any promotional gift and the warranty card. - Arrange the return through the Babyshop UAE help centre or your account. - If you wanted a different size or colour, place a separate new order for it. ## Refunds The UAE help centre keeps refund timing in separate articles for card and cash payments, which we did not read, so we cannot give a number of days here. What the published policy does settle is that a refund replaces an exchange: you get your money back and buy again. ## Ways to pay Babyshop UAE accepts Visa and Mastercard credit and debit cards issued in the UAE or abroad, cash on delivery, My Credit, gift cards, Shukran points and Tabby. Paying cash at the door costs AED 10 extra, so on a basket just under AED 200 a cash payer can end up paying AED 20 in fees. Before 3:30 PM, Saturday to Thursday, for delivery on the next business day. Orders placed after 3:30 PM on those days, or at any time on Friday, take 2 to 3 business days. Some areas take longer, and Babyshop does not deliver to free zones. Items that need assembly are scheduled separately at checkout. ### How much does express delivery of a cot or wardrobe cost? AED 150 on top of the order for 2-day Express. Products that need assembly can also go by scheduled delivery, where you pick the date and time at checkout without the Express charge. The 2-day option suits a nursery that has to be ready by a set date; otherwise scheduling a convenient slot is the cheaper choice. ### Can I return opened nappies or a used bottle warmer? No, unless the product is faulty. Nappies and nursing or maternity items such as bottle warmers cannot be returned once the packaging is opened, and anything used is refused. A defective product is accepted regardless. Unopened items in their original packaging can go back within 14 days of delivery with the invoice and accessories. ### Can I swap a Babyshop item for another size? Not directly. Babyshop UAE does not offer exchanges. Return the item within 14 days of delivery in its original packaging, then place a new order for the size or colour you want. If the new order is under AED 200, remember that the AED 10 delivery charge applies to it. ### Does Babyshop deliver to free zones in the UAE? No. Free-zone addresses are excluded from delivery in the UAE help centre, so give a home or office address outside them. Babyshop adds that some other areas take longer than the usual timings, without listing them, so allow extra time if you live outside the main cities. ### What is the minimum Shukran balance for paying with points? At least 200 Shukrans. Once you have that balance, a slider at checkout lets you choose how many points to use and shows the resulting discount.
