# Amazon Oman: delivery, returns and customer service Reviewed by [Omar Khatib](https://couponsradar.com/team/omar/) · Updated 18 October 2026 ## In short Oman is served by amazon.ae as an export country, with prices in dirhams. Unlike plain weight-based export shipping, eligible items to Oman can ship free once the order passes an AED minimum shown on the site. This page explains how that works, what non-eligible orders cost, payment, customs and returns, with delivery in 2–4 business days and a usual 15-day return window. | | | | --- | --- | | Free delivery from | Not published | | Standard delivery fee | Not published | | Return window | 15 days | | Free returns | Not published | | Cash on delivery | No | | Pay later | Not published | From Amazon’s own pages for Oman, read 18 October 2026 · . The help pages in our records give no Omani phone line or chat hours, so use Your Orders and the help section of amazon.ae while signed in. ## Free and paid shipping to Oman Items marked as eligible ship free to Oman when the qualifying part of the order passes an AED minimum displayed on the site; the free option is selected automatically at checkout. Three things do not count toward that minimum: items shipped by third-party sellers, VAT and the Import Fees Deposit. Without free shipping, the bill is AED 16.86 for the shipment and AED 32.31 for every kilo; on a 6 kg box that adds up to AED 210.72. Either way, parcels are expected in 2–4 business days. ## Tracking and cancelling The information we hold does not explain tracking, edits or cancellation for Oman. Follow the order from Your Orders on amazon.ae and contact Amazon if it has not arrived after 4 business days. ## Returns Returns from Oman follow the international rules on amazon.ae, usually within 15 days of receipt. The step-by-step procedure for Oman is not in our records, so start from your amazon.ae account and follow the option offered for the item. ## Payment and customs Cash on delivery is not available for Oman, so pay online; prices are in dirhams. An estimated Import Fees Deposit may be charged at checkout so duties are settled for you; that amount is ignored when Amazon checks the free-shipping threshold. For offers, see the Amazon Oman coupon page. ## Saving at Amazon in Oman The strongest offer right now: Free international shipping to Oman on eligible items. Only items marked eligible qualify, and items from third-party sellers are excluded. The eligible part of the order must pass the AED minimum shown on the site. And neither VAT nor the import deposit is added when the threshold is checked, so a total that looks high enough may still fall short. ### Do I need to choose free shipping at checkout? No. When an Oman order qualifies, the free international shipping option is selected automatically. If you see a paid option instead, the order probably does not meet the conditions: check that the items are marked eligible, are not from third-party sellers, and pass the minimum without counting VAT or the Import Fees Deposit. ### What does a non-eligible 3 kg parcel to Oman cost to ship? AED 113.79 in total, made of the AED 16.86 base fee and three kilos at AED 32.31. At 10 kg the figure climbs to AED 339.96. If you can swap a heavy non-eligible item for an eligible one and pass the minimum, the shipping charge can drop to zero. ### Are import duties added to an Oman order? They can be. An estimated Import Fees Deposit may be collected at checkout so that duties are paid for you, and you see the figure before paying. It appears in the total but does not count toward the free-shipping minimum. Allow for it when comparing an amazon.ae price with a local shop in Oman. ### What is the return deadline for Oman? Usually 15 days from receipt, under amazon.ae's international return rules. Open the return from your amazon.ae account before the deadline. Our records do not include the Oman-specific return steps or refund timings, so follow the instructions shown for your item. ### Can I pay cash when an Amazon parcel arrives in Oman? No. Orders to Oman cannot be paid in cash at the door, so payment is made online at checkout in dirhams. If you are comparing the cost with a local store, remember to include any shipping charge and the Import Fees Deposit in the amazon.ae total. ## Sources - [amazon.ae/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=GCBBSZMUXA6U2P8R](https://www.amazon.ae/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=GCBBSZMUXA6U2P8R) - [amazon.ae/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=GX2FNXL3AFRDGFU9](https://www.amazon.ae/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=GX2FNXL3AFRDGFU9) - amazon.ae/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=GUH83UTMXSACERW3 - amazon.ae/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=GZSKGA5HH9DSSN27 ## Amazon in other Gulf countries [Amazon UAE: delivery and returns](https://couponsradar.com/stores/amazon/uae/delivery-returns/)[Amazon KSA: delivery and returns](https://couponsradar.com/stores/amazon/saudi-arabia/delivery-returns/)[Amazon Kuwait: delivery and returns](https://couponsradar.com/stores/amazon/kuwait/delivery-returns/)[Amazon Bahrain: delivery and returns](https://couponsradar.com/stores/amazon/bahrain/delivery-returns/) **[Omar Khatib](https://couponsradar.com/team/omar/)** · Marketplaces, electronics, home and travel Omar follows the big Gulf marketplaces and electronics retailers.
