Almatar is run by Almatar Alarabi Commercial Services, listed on its contact page under licence number 73100546 for general travel and tourism services. Saudi travellers can call 920005511 or write on WhatsApp to +966 92 000 5511, and the contact page says the team is available around the clock.

The company also answers through its social accounts, all under the name almatarapp: X, Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, TikTok and LinkedIn, plus a YouTube channel. No email address or office address is displayed on the contact page, so phone and WhatsApp are the practical routes. WhatsApp has the edge for anything about an existing booking, because cancellations are confirmed there and you keep a written record.

## Changing a booking

Almatar charges service fees for changes and rebooking on top of anything the airline or hotel itself charges, and these fees are set out in the Service Fees part of its help centre rather than on the booking page. The amounts are not given in the material we read. Before you ask for a change, message the WhatsApp line with the booking reference and ask for the full cost of the change, including the fare difference, so you can compare it with cancelling and booking again.

## Cancelling a hotel or flight

Cancelling is a two-stage process: you start it yourself, and an agent finishes it on WhatsApp. Some Saudi bookings are non-refundable, so look at the conditions on your booking first.

- Open the booking on the website or in the Almatar app and press the cancel button.
- Watch for the WhatsApp conversation from +966 92 000 5511, where an agent picks up the request.
- Confirm the cancellation in that chat and ask the agent to state any service fee and the amount to be refunded.
- Keep the chat as your record, and call 920005511 if nothing arrives.

## What you get back

A refund is worked out from what you actually paid. If a promo code reduced the price, that discount stays lost after cancellation. Cancellation service fees are then deducted where they apply, and a non-refundable rate returns nothing. As an example, if a SAR 800 hotel stay was booked with a SAR 80 code, the starting point for any refund is SAR 720, before fees. Almatar does not state how many days a refund takes or whether timing differs by payment method, so ask the agent when you confirm the cancellation.

## Payment methods
