# Almatar Qatar: delivery, returns and customer service Reviewed by [Omar Khatib](https://couponsradar.com/team/omar/) · Updated 26 October 2026 ## In short This page sets out how Qatar residents get help from Almatar and what happens when a hotel or flight booking needs to change, be cancelled or be refunded. Two things are specific to the Qatar facts: some stays can be secured with book now, pay later, and after you request a cancellation Almatar emails you the refund policy for that booking. | | | | --- | --- | | Free delivery from | Not published | | Standard delivery fee | Not published | | Return window | Not published | | Free returns | Not published | | Cash on delivery | Not published | | Pay later | Tabby, Tamara | From Almatar’s own pages for Qatar, read 26 October 2026 · . The contact page gives the WhatsApp number as +966 92 000 5511, a Saudi number, and lists the social handle almatarapp on X, Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, TikTok and LinkedIn. No Qatar phone line, email address or office is shown. The business behind the site is Almatar Alarabi Commercial Services, shown on the contact page with licence number 73100546. That detail can help if your employer or a card issuer asks who the merchant was. ## Holding and changing a booking Book now, pay later is a newer feature for stays: it lets you secure a hotel without paying upfront. Where it appears for your hotel, it is a way to hold a room while dates are still being settled. The material we read does not say when payment is then taken or what happens if you change the stay before paying, so read the conditions on the hotel page. For changes to a paid booking, Almatar's change procedure for Qatar is not described in what we read. Message the WhatsApp team with your booking reference and ask for the full cost before agreeing to anything. ## Cancelling and the refund-policy email Once you ask to cancel, Almatar sends the refund policy for that booking by email. Treat that email as the reference for what you are owed. - Request the cancellation on your booking in the Almatar app or on the website. - Check your inbox, including spam, for the email setting out the refund policy for that booking. - Compare the refund it describes with what you paid, and raise any question on WhatsApp straight away. - Keep the email until the money has reached your card. ## Refunds to a Qatari card Payments from Qatar are converted to Saudi riyals whatever currency your card uses, so a refund is calculated in riyals and converted back to Qatari riyals by your bank. The amount you see can differ slightly from the original charge because of exchange rates or bank fees. Almatar does not publish refund timings for Qatar. ## Payment options Visa, Mastercard and Apple Pay are accepted for bookings from Qatar. Tabby and Tamara are shown on the payment page as well, without any country being named. If you prefer to pay nothing upfront for a hotel, look for the book now, pay later option instead. There are no published codes for Qatar; our Almatar coupon page tracks offers. ## Saving at Almatar in Qatar The strongest offer right now: MAT30, 7% off hotels, 5% back on flights. The contact page lists +966 92 000 5511 as the WhatsApp number. It is a Saudi number, but WhatsApp messages from a Qatari mobile cost nothing beyond your data. Support is available 24/7, and the same team can also be reached through the almatarapp accounts on X, Instagram and Facebook. ### When do I pay for a book now, pay later hotel? The material we read describes the feature only as a way to secure a stay without paying upfront; it does not give the payment date. That date, and any cancellation conditions before payment, should be shown on the hotel's booking page, so read them before you hold the room. ### I cancelled but did not get the refund-policy email. What now? Check your spam folder first, then message the WhatsApp team with your booking reference and ask them to resend it. That email explains the refund terms for this particular booking, so you need it before you can check whether the refund is correct. ### Will my bank charge a fee on an Almatar booking? It may. Every Almatar payment is converted into riyals (SAR) whatever the card's currency, which turns a Qatari card payment into a foreign-currency one. Many banks add a fee for that and apply their own rate. Ask your bank before a large booking, or use a card without foreign-transaction fees. ### Who runs Almatar? Almatar Alarabi Commercial Services, a Saudi company, according to the contact page, which also shows licence number 73100546 for general travel and tourism services. It sells hotels, flights and car rental through its website and app, and Qatar can be picked as your region in the site settings. ### Does Apple Pay work for a hotel booked from Qatar? It does. Along with Visa and Mastercard, Apple Pay is one of the listed methods for Qatar bookings. The charge is still made in Saudi riyals, so the conversion and any bank fee depend on the card stored in your Apple Pay wallet. ## Sources - [almatar.com/en/ae/contact-us/](https://almatar.com/en/ae/contact-us/) - [almatar.com/en/ae/faqs/66eabf471893e413148a7227/](https://almatar.com/en/ae/faqs/66eabf471893e413148a7227/) ## Almatar in other Gulf countries [Almatar UAE: delivery and returns](https://couponsradar.com/stores/almatar/uae/delivery-returns/)[Almatar KSA: delivery and returns](https://couponsradar.com/stores/almatar/saudi-arabia/delivery-returns/)[Almatar Kuwait: delivery and returns](https://couponsradar.com/stores/almatar/kuwait/delivery-returns/)[Almatar Bahrain: delivery and returns](https://couponsradar.com/stores/almatar/bahrain/delivery-returns/)[Almatar Oman: delivery and returns](https://couponsradar.com/stores/almatar/oman/delivery-returns/) **[Omar Khatib](https://couponsradar.com/team/omar/)** · Marketplaces, electronics, home and travel Omar follows the big Gulf marketplaces and electronics retailers.
