The Qatar pages we used give no local phone number. ## Receiving and activating the eSIM The package arrives in your account as soon as you pay; nothing is posted to an address in Qatar. What matters more is when it activates, because that is when the days start to run. Most Airalo eSIMs activate when they connect to a supported network at your destination. Some activate as soon as they are installed, wherever you happen to be. Each package states which rule it follows under Additional Information, then Activation Policy, so check that line before you buy and before you install at home in Doha. ## Validity and data Once active, a package lasts for its stated number of days as long as the data holds out. It ends when the validity period runs out or when all the data is used, whichever happens first. Heavy use can therefore end a package before its last day. Airalo's expiry article does not explain top-ups, low-data alerts or how to check what remains; it points you to support for those. If you expect heavy use, sizing the data allowance generously at purchase avoids an early finish. ## Refunds Refunds are requested through the Request Refund button in the package history, and the button is there only for eligible orders. The Qatar sources we used do not list the reasons, refund methods or timings, so ask support if the button is missing or you are unsure which outcome to expect. ## Payment and loyalty Airalo accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, UnionPay and JCB cards, PayPal and Google Pay. Apple Pay is offered, though not in all countries, and Alipay only in the mobile app. Airmoney can pay for all of an order or part of it: choose your method, then Apply Code/Use Airmoney, and enter the amount. Prices are not shown in riyals, so your card converts the charge into ر.ق. Airmoney back depends on your level. A new account is a Traveler at 5%. Paid spending of $20 makes you a Silver Traveler at 6%, $70 a Gold Traveler at 7%, and $200 a Platinum Traveler at 10%. The cashback is worked out on each purchase at your current level, and only money you pay counts towards the next one: amounts covered by Airmoney are ignored. Can I keep using my Airalo package? No. An Airalo package ends when its data is used up, even if days remain on its validity. It equally ends on its last day if data is left over. For the rest of your trip you would need another package, so for long or data-heavy stays choose a larger allowance from the start. ### Where do I see whether a package starts on installation or on arrival? Open the package before buying and look under Additional Information, then Activation Policy. Most Airalo packages start when they connect to a supported network at your destination, but some start the moment they are installed, regardless of where you are. That line tells you which kind you are buying. ### Which loyalty level does a new Airalo account start on? Every new account starts as a Traveler, earning 5% back in Airmoney on each paid purchase. You move to Silver Traveler at $20 of paid spending, Gold Traveler at $70 and Platinum Traveler at $200. The rate applies to each purchase at the level you hold when you buy. ### Does spending Airmoney count towards my next loyalty level? No. Airalo counts only the part of each purchase you pay with a card, wallet or PayPal. Whatever Airmoney covers is excluded. If you are a few dollars short of the next level, paying the next order in full by card moves you up faster than spending your credit. ### Can I pay with Alipay on Airalo from Qatar? Yes, but only in the Airalo mobile app. Alipay is on the accepted list with that restriction, so it will not show on the website checkout. On the website, the choices are cards on Visa, Mastercard, American Express, UnionPay or JCB, PayPal, Google Pay, Airmoney and, where offered, Apple Pay. ### Who do I ask about top-ups or remaining data? Airalo support, which is available 24/7. Airalo's article on package expiry does not cover top-ups, low-data notifications or checking your remaining balance, and it directs those questions to the support team.
