The contact page itself is meant for product questions and partnership enquiries. For self-help there is the help centre at airalo.com/help. Airalo is also on Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube. The contact page lists no email address, phone number or postal address, so for an order problem from Bahrain, chat is the route. ## Buying a package You can buy on the website or in the iOS or Android app. Because the eSIM is digital, there is no courier, no delivery charge and nothing to collect in Bahrain: the package is waiting in your account once payment goes through. ## Managing packages, top-ups and renewals The app is where you manage your packages and top them up, which is useful once you are abroad and away from a computer. If you use automatic renewals, make sure a card or wallet is stored in your account. Renewals cannot be paid with Airmoney, so a renewal with no saved payment method behind it will not go through on credit alone. ## How refunds arrive Refunds come in two forms. Airmoney is added to your account instantly, while money returned to a card needs 7 to 10 business days to appear. The Bahrain sources we used do not set out the request steps, so if you need to start one, ask in the chat. ## Payment methods and Airmoney Accepted methods are Visa, Mastercard, American Express, UnionPay and JCB cards, PayPal, Google Pay, Airmoney and Apple Pay, the last not in every country. Alipay is available in the mobile app only. To combine credit with a card, select the card, then Apply Code/Use Airmoney, and type the amount. You earn Airmoney by buying eSIMs, topping them up, referring friends and through promotional offers. It can pay for a whole order or only part of one, but it cannot be applied while the balance is under $1.00, and Airalo notes there are some other cases where it cannot be used. Since 1 February 2025 Airmoney can expire, and expiry takes the whole balance at once. It is not automatic, though: every purchase, including one paid with Airmoney, pushes the expiry date a year further out, and so does adding Airmoney, for example through a referral. Airalo sends email and push reminders before expiry, provided notifications are switched on. The balance is held in US dollars. Yes. Airalo sends reminders by email and push notification before your balance expires, so switch notifications on in the app to receive them. Expiry applies to the whole balance, not part of it, and any purchase or new Airmoney credit moves the date a year forward. ### Does a referral bonus stop my Airmoney from expiring? It extends it. Adding Airmoney, including through the referral programme, moves the expiry date one year further out, just as a purchase does. So a friend signing up with your referral keeps your whole balance alive for another year even if you have not bought anything yourself. ### What currency is my Airmoney balance held in? US dollars. If you set a different display currency, Airalo shows the balance converted at the current exchange rate from a third-party service. The underlying credit stays in dollars, so the shown figure can move slightly from day to day without you spending anything. ### Why can I not apply my Airmoney at checkout? Most often because the balance is under $1.00; it becomes usable again once it is above that. Airalo also says there are some other cases where Airmoney cannot be used, and renewals can never be paid with it.
